Bruce,
It's a lot to absorb. I've had much better luck catching 5-10 pips in my live account. I'm inching my way up about $75-100 per day, sometimes I'll get restless and not trade at all and go fly-fishing for a few hours. I've found I am doing better with technicals now (as I learn to use some indicators).
My take for today?
I think after such a drop, there will be some retracement this afternoon, with all the red I saw this morning.
I am finished trading for today. but I see the USD/JPY starting to retrace from about 107.00 - 107.20 and going back to at least 107.30 - 107.40 before the day is done.
Partly because in the afternoon, all that money that moved to Gold and Oil will partially come back out, and the USD/JPY will look tasty for traders that are taking proifits in the afternoon that went short on the USD/JPY . That should be worth 15-20 Pips?
IMHO
