They are basically saying that they beleive the USD has a greater influence on the pair (no kidding) B U T, investor sentiment is hinged on a hawkish Trichet. They are suggesting that if investors are not completely re-assured of Trichet's hawkishness that there will be a euro sell off. The mild sell off we saw today was an example of this.Ignored
