How to search the internet

Every day there are more and more posting by those that seem to have no idea how to conduct a search on the internet or a database in general. BTW Forex Factory is just a huge database. I choose to believe they are just not knowledgable instead of lazy.

The ability to do basic research is one of the requirements of any educational endevor and FX is one hell of an educational endevor.

I look at it before asking questions, and also refer it to others when they start a question with the question, "Can I ask you something?"

it searches Google, MSN, Ask.com and most of the majors all at the same time.

I am seeing a lot of posts that can be resolved by doing a quick search. Time to give this thread a bump.

Unfortunately this is often the case on most forums. In some cases however you could technically say almost all the questions that are asked here have been answered before. In some cases I've come across questions asked 10+ times, however each time it was asked, others gave back different opinions and therefore different answers making it unique in it's own right in the end.

I agree that a question that does not rely on opinion but fact should be searched for first, unless of course that is what you were speaking of.

But then again, if everyone did that, the phrase "Google is your friend" wouldn't exist
