Zig Zag Expert Advisor Problem

Hi all. I am pretty new to forex trading and currently practicing with the demo by Interbank FX.

Yesterday, I came accross an EA called "Fractal ZigZag Expert Advisor". I loaded it up to the demo account and ran several backtests. It looks like an ineresting system. However, I found that the system only enters into long position. It just does not open any short position at all. I am thinking maybe it's something wrong with the coding in the system. I tried to open it with the Meta Editor but could not understand the coding.

Attached is the expert. Can someone help and look at it to see if the problem can be fixed?

I haven't taken a look at your EA, but if it uses the Zig-Zag indicator, it's physically impossible to trade it. The Zig-Zag indicator draws its lines retrospectively, meaning it draws them after they price movement has already happened. Therefore you can't trade using it unless somehow your broker lets you trade on charts that have already happened.

This EA only trades on the long side. Has anyone ever taken a look at this EA? I've been forward testing this and even with it only trading Long, it is doing better than most of my other EA's. I do understand that there are many that do not like the ZigZag indicators, but they seem to be working for me. Well, if anyone has fixed this EA, please let me know where the new EA is. Thanks a bunch!

Try to RENAME the EA to be "ZagZig" ...

I have not tried this EA in Live Trading, but I have edited and attach the script so (maybe) the EA can make Short positions.
