Hi Guys,
I discovered a strategy over the weekend. I have coded it into an EA (Just the basic core of the EA). On backtesting over a 12 month period, it basically makes just over 10% a month.
I would really appreciate your help on this one. There are certain periods in the market where there are false moves and if I can find a way of eliminating or reducing them then this would be a good profitable strategy.
Indicators needed:
- 2 Exponential moving averages (Periods 6 and 15). I tested these and they work the best so far.
- ADX, period 14.
Strategy:
If fast EMA(6) is above the slow EMA(15) and ADX(14) is above the 25 value then place a trade (Long).
If fast EMA(6) is below the slow EMA(15) and ADX (14)is above the 25 value then place a trade (Short).
Take Profit = 60.
StopLoss = 20.
Check it out, it works very well. I don't have time at the moment to post screenshots, but it works well.
Tell me what you think. I will post screenshots tomorrow.
Please help me improve on this strategy.
Very easy to code though.
Thank you in advance.
