I looked at that too during my early Forex days and came to realise that it was just far too much faffing about. Whether it works or not is another question. However, there are much simpler ways to trade. Who can be arsed to inspect 300 different indicators?

Cheers man. I do like to think I have a sense of humour.
If you think its a heap of shit, then why are you here asking about statistics regarding the same system you are talking bad about. That doesn't make sense.

Unless of course even you know you could be wrong about it. I wont sugar coat it, I've been studying for about a year and I can say you can easily make a living just trading the system, without adding to it or using multiple systems, without trading so many pairs. All you need is one pair.

It's very simple if you follow the rules.

I personally haven't found any other system on this forum to provide such consistency and simplicity as the paradox. Once you learn it then the only downfall is psychological.

I was also banned for a brief period, but he gave me another chance , which I appreciate very much. I'm very successful because of that man. And he has done a great thing helping others find their way in trading Forex.

The results speak for themselves.

Good for you. I wouldn't know about results speaking for themselves because I haven't seen any results Could you show me some please? Monthly average ROR over the past couple of years? Thanks in advance.

I know this thread is no longer active ,but I will still give my feedback. In regards to the Paradox, I think the whole essence of it is providing parameters to achieve an almost 100% precision, so even if you only make 40 pips per trade the use of leverage will reward you more than you can imagine, provided you trust the system , which is a problem in itself... I'm a bit reluctant to blindly follow a system that I don't have the code for ... what if I dedicated myself to it and the dynamics of the market I'm trading change significantly? What if the Mt4 is updated and the system becomes useless?

The fact that he is a Christian fanatic does not bother me as long as he can produce numbers ( he could be a martian , as far as I'm concerned )but the problem is that his explainations for the fundamentals of the system are limited to " oh , it is the power of God that created this " , it's just not enough...

I tried the system myself for almost a month ( demo ) and in terms of RoR , I was able to achieve about 2 successful trades per day , meaning a total of ~2000 pips over a months. I was unsuccessful in some of the trades but there was always an explaination of why I had failed.

So in conclusion, the system works , and I respect him a lot for dedicating his time to educate others. I'm not sure I would trade it live , but the way the forex retail market works, consistency is the most profitable element of a system.... it's just that we don't really know what the system is

Hi Andy. I'm new to forex, And I'm currently trying many systems. They all works but I couldn't stick with them for a lots of reasons.
Can you suggests for me a system that you like most?
And about paradox system. This is my opinion.
Paradox system is MA-based system and a lots of normal indi that being used for a long period of time. So I think it will works as long as it can

Hello! The Paradox seems to adapt very efficiently to market conditions... the creator claims to have finished the system 11 years ago or so and it's amazing how precise it still is . What you need to understand is that at certain points during sessions there are moments of so-called "captive conditions" that depend on various factors ( WHO trades the pair , HOW the pair is traded , WHY the pair is traded ) . With the Paradox , you have a 1hr chart( popular among retail traders ) , 2hr chart( which is mostly traded by institutions ) and a daily chart and at certain points during the sessions, gaps are created where you can know the instrinsic " price limits " ( to call them that ) - which is what the Paradox does ( it's very difficult to explain the concept , but through mathematical calculations , the system recognises these points from which the price cannot fall more than 40 pips and where it can rise 40 pips - outside news releases ) For a beginner , I would personally recommend this system , my concern is with risking greater amounts with a system I don't know the code for.

What moving average is the Parabolc, what are the parameters?
I don't remember exactly now, is a waste of time. but they are all moving averages (EMA and SMA). there are also zig zag, bollingher B, etc. to replicate it is simple: just screen the paradox on the chart today, and replicate on your chart, add the moving averages, using the same colors, testing the periods. you will see that all lines coincide. the author is an elderly man, who probably writes from some rest home to pass the time.

So I have ignored this system for what now... 4 years?..

I just spent the last two days taking notes, studying over and over.. now I feel like I finally understood 80% of the system and have a few questions to ask.. but now I fail to find proof that this system actually works or see anyone show results...

Then I read this.. I realized.. damn.. my first instinct was probably right....

IIRC this is the system the OP wouldn't release the original code to the indicators which some of them are custom?

What happens when you can't use the indicators anymore? MT4 is over 15 years old, it will eventually be phased out. What happens if they do another MT4 update like 600 that caused a ton of custom indicators to stop working?

Even if the system does work, its only a matter of time till the indicators become worthless and you're stuck up a creek. Hopefully the people who trade it have a backup plan. Personally I wouldn't trade anything that I couldn't easily replicate on other platforms.
