Ive hit EA with short 3 times in the last week or so - it just keeps bouncing up and dropping like a stone off the descending resistance line like clockwork

I also have to say that the buying of NZD is overdone on the data release - it will correct in relation to AUD despite the data beating expectations...
I just went long on AN from s78-s100

trick is to follow up what you just got off

Basically buying dips and selling rallies. Example I got off on NJ at 7364 might hit this again at 7315-73
This could be a beginning of a new trend so you are doing the right thing.Once you follow core pairs closely your confidence increases when to load up and when not.Do your calendar events every week without exception you must develop intuitive awareness how these events shape price.
I am trying to teach pro awareness not lazy retail trader who thinks "everything is in the charts"....I am sure you heard that phrase before usually from guys who are not successful in most part.

NJ swing is developing north so buying dips is in line with higher TF.This kind of things should install confidence

I feel compelled to comment on A and N pairs as these countries are my home.
inflation is a problem in NZ - the problem being that wages are not keeping up with inflation - so in the long term the economy will slow down crippled by high prices and nobody having the money to pay for anything - petrol in NZ is now $10NZD per gallon avg retail pump price- think about that.
Keep an eye on the next wages data in NZ - if it prints low the bird will be in trouble.
Similar story in AUS - we dont have wages growth - this needs to improve before our economy sees growth acceleration. Until then - things are very steady as all other fundamentals are generally quite good. The only other thing keeping a lid on australian economy is flat to slightly negative real esate prices. Deflating realestate assets are causing some loss in equity to many australians. As a result they not spending as much as they would like nor investing in new acquisitions.

Was busy at work so couldn’t respond right away. I I’m in NJ too as well since yesterday. And I saw build up to higher level. I wanted to take out at 61 resistance as you did brother but I also wanted to try something else here. So I am holding for possible addition to that rally. If I loose so be it if I win I win big. Thanks brother for meaningful advice. Learn from you every time .

Thank you for making it clear...this is not for the weak minded but once we follow the Method as Davit explained it...it is not difficult at all.

Folks compelled to complicate things, add things and then wonder why they are in the 90% when they can get the best education on trading at no charge. Our only cost is our time, patience and humbleness cause no ego needed here. By reading both threads one learns more than just pivots...because it's an entire Trading System. Once we realize it's and entire system then and only then we will stop looking elsewhere.

I find from trails and error that its better getting out booking the profits then reload on the dip.Advantage is you are getting in lower price and you already took the profits.
There is small chance price may break 100R and go more but not likely on NZD at this time without 1st dropping back to support.
Holding birds in hand is essential.
regards

Cryptosurf mentioned trading is more like running from base to base then eventually scoring and winning the game.Aiming for HR may not be best strategy specially that we focus on swings

{quote} I'm looking more at R100...seems to be the target for me. Not a signal...just my analysis. Only because for me AU target is R100 and NU is her baby cousin that does whatever she says... Took 174 pips on UC on S38. done really well with UC so far.
Ignored
Not sure if my broker is acting weird again on NZD as usual but on my chart it already reached R100 as I anticipated. Except it went on its own without AU. I am; however, now looking for an AU upside to follow NU's move.

AN long
have already posted numerous trades from beginning not just closed profit ones. There is a risk others may copy it and lose money but example I just posted is for education purpose how I go around my trades.
30% invested remaining 70% in reserve should this drop further down (unlikely in my opinion.)

Price dropped and got rejected from 100S waited until it settled down then loaded up once PA showed price was at support
Once you have every criteria checked rest is pure probability Edge over series of trades. No emotions involve NO fear just letting price do its thing

This confirms AU going north now that NU already did. NU will hold its position and AU will follow suit creating the AN northbound. If you follow AU and NU you will find that more often than not these pairs will spike and the other follow and you can take advantage of AN direction bias. I no longer trade AN for now so I must pass for now.

There is an added benefit of learning certain pairs, not just trading at random.
