MT4 alerts disappearing?

no one enjoys staring at candles doing bugger all for hours on end.

so I'm setting alerts on different charts, I walk away from the computer, keeping an ear out. Come back an hour or so later, just to find all the alerts have disappeared? Do they expire after an hour, or is my MT4 just malfunctioning in the alerts department?

They expire if u create it from right click
u can always double click the alert and disable that expiration
