Real Time Forex Quotes Providers

Hi, I'm currently learning forex and I'm developing a very simple charting software while I do it. I would like to feed it with real time quotes for being able to program alarms (yeah I know about metatrader.. I plan to use it as well, but I like the total control that I'll have with my little program)

Do you know if there is a free service that provides real time forex quotes?

or a cheap one?

currently I'm using yahoo finance, but their quotes are delayed and their real time qoutes service is kind of expensive for me.

Btw I plan to make the software open source

Who says u have to use MT4 to get the feed from an mt4 broker. Do some searching - you can capture the DDE feed directly from the broker.

there are several who provide access to their data feed even from demo accounts. MBTrading, Interactive Brokers, etc etc all have API's which allow data feed directly to whatever software you are building.

I'm currently researching the Order2Go COM API of FXCM.

DDE stands for Dynamic Data Exchange.

So, does anyone know if it would be "fair use" to publish data from these feeds? Or would it be some form of copyright infringement?
