I have been working with a strategy that involves seasonality. Much looking at tables like this: https://www.earnforex.com/blog/wp-co...usd-usdsek.png
So today i got a little bit sick and tired of these tables and tought; isn't there a nice indicator for this.
Well, it seems not. at least i can't find any. I have been searching here at FF and ofcourse by using the almight google. "Seasonality Forex Indicator Metatrader 4" have been the search frase i“ve been using but as said... i can't find what i am looking for.
Does anyone know if there is an indicator that works more or less in the following way and are displayed in a separate window (not in the chart window that is):
* Start time by X amount of bars/candles back in history or by a start date if one wants a fixed point of start.
* Showing in the separate window something like the example below:
Month*******Bars*******Calculated Percantage closed higher then open (bars)*******Percantage closed Lower then open(bars)
Jan *********100********75% (75)****************************************25% (25)
Feb *********100******** 50% (50))***************************************50% (50)
Mars ********100******** 40% (40) ))**************************************60% (60)
April ********100******** 35% (35) ))**************************************65% (65)
etc etc etc...
Well.... the above is of course just an ambitious example... but if there's something like it out there and you know where to find it please post a link to it. I would really appreciate it.
Now... you might wonder what kind of method/strategy i will use if for.
I don't know how much you guys knows about seasonality but i find it very useful since it's a pattern that returns year after year after year and if you combine it with a logic reason to why it happens (like huge purchase of a commodity for example) you can use the the knowledge from this to look for entry points in the direction to where the seasonality point. i.e: looking for a buy opportunity in june if most month of June ends up to close with a higher price and where the month started.
Let's look at the pic. below for the Dollar Index (DXY). What do you think would be the best bet in April...? :-p
Anyway; hope someone can help me find what i am looking for because i can't for sure.
