Can't you add a text to the corner of the screen of your ea, that says something like: "For free at forexfactory" so that way, no one can sell your ea, because it says that you can get it here...

For closing conditions: TP reached OR SL reached OR trailing stop (locking) reached OR "close all" OR "close basket".

Of course it's the global P/L since P/L is displayed for each currency ( it's a child's play for you )
You can display the different mentions but IMO it's important to do an absolute STOP TRADING after a SL. Maybe a reset if the trader wants to come back in the market.
What do you think about ?

I try to add my 2 cents with this idea.

1. When the trigger is hit we open a FAKE BASKET: not a real basket on the market, but a basket on the paper.
2. When the loss on the FAKE BASKET is (for instance) -4%, we prepare to open the REAL BASKET.
3. When the loss on the FAKE BASKET is -2% we open the REAL BASKET.
4. We are assuming that the trend has hit the bottom @ -4%.
5. We will close the REAL BASKET @ -4 (loss will be -2%), or we will close the REAL BASKET @ +1% (gain will be +3%).
6. In this way the risk/reward is much better.

The power of the system is that we define a clear stop zone and we hope that market has hit the bottom behind us.

The problem is how to trace the FAKE BASKET on the paper.

i think VUC values for different currencies are different.For example GBP is volatile currency so its VUC value easily reach 5 or -5 where NZD currency VUC value on average is 4.7 I want to ask you can you please add one feature in EA so that we can set VUC values according to each currency .i mean the feature like:
Min VUC value for GBP=
Max VUC value for GBP=
Min value for NZD=
Max value for NZD=
and so on.because when GBP is on the top i need to adjust VUC values for each currency according to their strength

I set an absolute SL which prevent from automatic new open (you must reinit the EA). On the contrary, SL for individual pair is not a EA stopper.

Interesting, and definitly not the same result as simply shifting triggers.
I will leave this task to faryne... i dont know how to handle a phantom basket or 2 or 3 or 4....
and i like kiss systems....

The new ideas are gushing.
Me too I'm thinking about a NO MORE button.
What is it ?
I suppose a period of volatility with already 3 open USD baskets.
My DD is increasing dangerously and I see on the indicator another possibility of trade on JPY.
Of course, I don't want to open a new basket.
So I click on NO MORE button to avoid a new open and keep the control of my 3 baskets.
Is it possible ?

About the ghost basket, I don't know if faryne can make it. He has already worked a lot this week
In addition, we risk to miss some interesting trades. Depending the level...If the ghost basket opens at 4.4 and that there is a reversal, we miss the trade.

I'm not sure to understand. NZD is a quiet currency and today it has touched many times an inhabitual VLC of 0.2. What precisely do you propose ? a recalculation of delta ? see with a coder

This sounds counterproductive to be honest, because it can also work against you.
For example, if your "fake basket" ist @ +2% and doesn't go back down, you have to either miss the trade, or, make less profit, than if you would have just entered as the signal was there.

Missing a trade to get a high probability entry is a good thing really. AND, "less profit" is not a bad thing at all.

I have been testing the strategy for several days. I prefer to trade manually on currency pairs. Revers almost perfectly, especially if they are at R/S levels. Well, you can visually control the SL and TP.
I appeal to Ezios
A huge relief would be the addition of these options to the indicator cm_mod. I think that many people will support and appreciate this.

Yes Ezios made an excellent indicator which displays too a good pair to trade.
Sometimes I do it also with S/R help like you but curiously the discussion here has been mostly about basket trading.

There was a thread named "Basked Trading EA" and there was 3 options in EA for such things:
1.The "Stop After <#>" button. (The EA will stop trading after <#> numbers of baskets traded or profit/loss triggered.
2. "One trade per candle" true/false (if EA is placed on 1hr TF, it will only take 1 trade for every 1hr(4hr,days, weeks, etc.))
3. Max trades open.
You can search for member Seller9. maybe he can advice some coding logic.

Are you aware of NZD news before previous day closed?
Don't blindly follow indicators, they lag.

I think faryne can do that easily. It's just a command to not open momentarily new trades.

Sure. It's why we need a news calendar ( post # 29 ) . I admit that I do not always look at minor currencies

Hi all
I have opened on feb 19 a small demo account ( $ 1 000 ) to test the system.
You see the results below but there are some mistakes:
1 st from me : several baskets were opened with 0.1 lots...of course only 0.01 lot ...no more
2 nd from EA testing : too many baskets due at bugs
So the results turn around 20 % weekly profit instead of 36 %.
I set a 5 % SL and it was never reached ( of course it will be one day )
Max baskets in progress : 5....max DD observed : 3 %.
What conclusion ? lucky week ? probably...
I still don't know the best way to close the trades. Mostly were closed by lock and sometimes the profit continued.
Just curious to see your results and to read your suggestions to do even more a safer system.
