My charts have full of indicators and they are getting unacceptably slow...
My PC specification: (Windows 10 64 bit)
Normally, I open 4 charts + 1 offline chart (2H or 12H). When I do this, my system already reaches full resource usage:
When I kill one offline chart, I can save some resource but it's still high.
Even if I open only one online chart, changing TF is still way too slow. I reduced max bars in history/chart to 10000/5000. (reducing further may affect the accuracy of the indicators.) Higher TFs are relatively OK, but for TFs below 1H, it takes really long time or even not responding as if MT4 crashed, although system resource usage is not that high.
I am considering buying Dell Precision Tower 5000 series workstation with Xeon E5 CPU + 32BG ram. My question is will this resolve my performance issue? I started thinking it could be MT4's performance issue rather than my PC's hardware performance... Even if I buy powerful workstation, will my charts still be slow?
Thanks,
