One clarification...Can I trade the three pairs on a micro at .03 setting safely?Ignored
Quoting rideblitzDislikedalso is there anything special needed if i'm using an ibfx mini? this is my first test with them. all others had been with other brokers in standard accounts (which is also where regualr 63g-ts is working). hmm.Ignored

Quoting rideblitzDislikedmoneyma$ter,
can you please post your set file, if you're using one. or just all the settings you're using. mine has yet to open any, however standard 63g-ts has. so i think something in my stettings is holding it back.
thanks.Ignored

Question:
I've noticed a number of trades taking profits in both versions (v63 TS and v63H-ts) but TP wasn't reached. Shows as pink in the MT4 account history. Presumably, Firebird intentionally revises SL to a profit number less than the TP and exits early for profit? This morning alone, I'm showing more than $500 in profit on 4 trades due to these early exits. It cannot be the TS function since the SL is 100 or more pips away. Not complaining, just that in all my getting, I like gaining understanding.
Please confirm. Thanks.Ignored
Quoting rideblitzDislikedthat is the TS doing that, looking at your setting above, your TS is 10, such that, when the price moves 10pips in profit your SL gets reassigned to breakeven, as it moves more into profit the the SL keeps getting moved up and up with it, so eventually if there is a reversal, it will hit the newly defined SL which is actually in profit thanks to the TS.Ignored
Quoting MoneyMa$terDislikedThanks rideblitz,
Obviously I didn't consider the change of SL to BE which certainly explains it because otherwise the SL is so distant, the TS would have no impact. Of the last 10 trades closed by FB, all winners, five closed due to the TS routine. Each of the trades I shared with you yesterday closed in profit this morning It works like a charm!!
BTW, is your EA trading yet?Ignored

Quoting rideblitzDislikedNo problem. Glad everything going good for you.
And, I got one trade out of it finally for usdchf, but just the one, its currently still open. I changed percent from 0.1 to 0.05. though i usually like 0.1 but if it works on .05 i'm happy.Ignored
Quoting wackenaDislikedMoneyMa$ter,
t/s has a catch 22. The good point is that it can secure profits if price does not quite reach t/p. It does this just as you described above. The catch 22 is that after s/l is set by t/s, then price reverses a little before proceeding. the s/l can be trigger by the reverse and then potential t/p profit is not gained. With FB type EAs, I've found the s/l to be beneficial as many times price will reverse strongly before reaching t/p. Without t/s and s/l of 300, orders can stay open a long time. Using t/s closes many orders so new order can be opened.
Just my opinion.

Quoting dscott5912DislikedHi sinclap -
If you're going to run v1.0a with a beginning balance of $400, I highly recommend using v1.0a1 which includes money management and min margin level protection. You can find v1.0a1 attached to my post..
