It's on default HR33 settings with Just Forex.

Try RESET the parameter, then load the file again

Because what makes no order is only:
-Max_Spread
-Signal_Level
-MM
-TimeStart and TimeEnd

BGPUSD is an aggressive pair with greater profit.
Bile using setfile type HR33, faster growth.
But ........... in the condition of a trend of around 500 pips the possibility of free margin is not enough
One solution is to use Dynamic Grid (eg 90930) ==> fewer transactions but can use a larger MM with smaller DD

Yes, Cent accounts have wider spreads but no commission

With account Cent, With $ 50- $ 100 it's flexible with this EA
Just info, my friend with $ 1,200 (Cent 120,000), used for 5 Cent accounts, for the past 3 months a total of more than 800k Cent.

Dear mrgmrg,

Thank you for your hard work regarding this EA. I just downloaded the latest version of the EA (which was uploaded today) for backtest purposes in MT4 (IC Markets). It does not work however. Could you be so kind to let me know how I can backtest this EA?

Hi Adam

Backtest should not be a problem, especially ICM has a low spread.
Try pressing the reset parameter, becoming the default parameter.


*** Today's uploads have no changes, only extended expiration for Live demo

Thank you for your quick reply mrgmrg. I tried to do the above, but without any success. The strategy tester journal shows "Testing pass stopped due to critical error in the EA". Any idea what could have caused this and/or how to solve? I don't get the same error while backtesting other EA's, so I expect it is related to the settings.

Ok, let's find the cause
1. Make sure BT uses the Model: Every tick
2. How much capital is used
3. How much is leverage
4. Check Pair specifications

Thank you once again mrgmrg for your assistance. I think all the above aspects are correct, although I do not exactly know how (and why) to adjust the settings of the EA on the basis of the pair specifications.

I had a deeper look into the testing journal. See below. Could it be that there is a restriction regarding the testing period (see highlighted row)?

It looks like it can't create the file EURUSD1_0.fxt because it reads only ==> file "C: \ Users \ dtc __ \ AppData \ Roaming \ MetaQuotes \ Terminal \ 1DAFD9A7C67DC84FE37EAA1FC1E5CF75 \ tester \ history \ EURUSD1_0.fxt" is read-only
Then in the next step out the array

Try deleting or emptying the * .fxt file before backtest ( Backtest auto create file *.fxt temporary file)

Thank you mrgmrg. Problem solved . Changing EURUSD1_0.fxt to a non-read only file solved the problem. I was not aware that this caused the issue because the read only file did not cause issues while backtesting other EAs. Once again, many thanks for your help. I am more happy that I can perform a backtest now

ok UWC
If the file status is read only, any EA will stop backtest. Conditions become read only, can occur when the backtest stops abnormal. Maybe before, the file status is not read only.
Each backtest with history will create a * .fxt file that is processed from the history file * .HST

because I want The EA finish the beginning martingale dans stop the EA. What's the button for that ?

Hi YoLeDruide
1. PAUSE mode, if pressed the PAUSE button, EA does not work until the Pause button is pressed again (Pause release)
2. BREAK mode, If you press the BREAK button, EA still works until one cycle is complete. There will be no new order if the BREAK button has not been pressed again (Break Release)
3. LOCK mode, if pressed LOCK BAL button, will make a hedging transaction, total lot buy = Sell lots total, then EA does not work until it is pressed again Lock Lock button. Usually this is for emergency.

For more details, please try the Demo account with a small Grid (eg 3).

after super 10 days, today I have lost all money with GBPUSD with version 9_b.(in the middle of afternoon)

Do you have any suggestion about the setting with version 9_b?

sorry MRG I got mixed up with another test and updated the post. The version is 9_b and not 33

ermm . currently you might wanna avoid GBPUSD due to political news , whats your marting min pips ? i suggest you might wanna stick with EURUSD & AUDUSD, whichever the case, using reverse trend marting is only good for range market, maybe you could wait for the next version where there is a build in trend indicator. it will work much better.
