Hi someone,
Just thought I would throw one out here. I like this chart because is simple and to the point. I have learned from others that I share the same need for simplicity and almost naked charts that some other traders do.

This Chart has Six Indicators: Time Series Forecast, xpMA,
Visual_BT_Pivots V1.3, FiboSeries_v1.2, DxTradeDailyBoxedFibs&Pivots and ###AutoPivots. I love this chart for this cross traded currency.

I like how the confluence of Monthly and Daily pivots provided ample resistance to set up a nice short trade. A player who had patience to sit and wait for the short to materialize would be able to avoid the false signals prior to the big drop.

Thanks pip,

No need to thank me. That just means I will need to thank 20 other FF members for the indicators and information they provided to me in the past. That's one thing that I don't like about FF. So much info gets presented over and over by us newbs as if it's new stuff. Some people get irritated by that, but I see it as natural evolution of ideas. Einstein, for example, gained much of his research through his involvement with the US patent office as a clerk doing patent searches. Lots of good info is in those patent applications and many patents are a culmination of several pre-existing patents.

Hi BenQ,
I am glad you asked me that because I have been making tmplates and saving them in the Templates folder...makes sense right? Well when I close the trading platform and go into the templates folder through the computer to back up my templates they are never there and I don't know why. But since you asked, I ,fianally, thought to save the template to the desktop and WA-LA. I have one. Obviously, you will need to put those indicators in your Experts>indicators folder for the template to work.Thanks BenQ. Enjoy.

Hi PipMint,

Templates can be saved anywhere. But for use, they have to be placed in MT4\Templates folder. May be earlier you were saving somewhere else (may be in Experts\templates folder, check there).

Hi Chanrda,
I have checked in those locations.At one point, I did think maybe I was saving them in the wrong templates folder because I noticed there are two of them, but neither of the templates folders contained my teplates but that occurs only if the platform is off and I navigate through computer>local disk C> program files>metatrader-northfinace> etc... If I have the platform app. running I can see and load the templates I created. I did finally figured a way to save them outside the platform files by changing the directory to my desktop. I should have thought of this before but I really wasn't motivate to because I can always remember the indicators I like to use on my charts. This is another example of how feedback increases intelligence and learning. Thanks for the feed back everybody. Thanks for the post chandra.

Hi Jedi,
I like the whole Star Wars thing you have going on, A Jedi seeks no title, let the force be you. I love it. Anyway, Nice chart, If it works for you great! I could probably cut a couple indicators off my first chart I posted but I like it. Here is another one,with one indicator(Zup_v76) on GBP/JPY 5M Chart. If anyone wants the Zup Instructions you may go to the link provided below. Thanks everybody.Oh yeah, for the zup to work you must click the "allow DLL imputs" box when you attach it to your chart.Also, the Zup_v76 can alot more than what you see here.Check it out and post your results if you want but if you do please provide and explanation for everyone to understand the hows and whys of your charts.

This is Simple Simon.
Two MAs, a Visual_BT_Pivots (my modified version of Habeeb's AutoPivotCalculator.MQ4) all served on a delicately sensual 4HR line chart. As you can see the MAs are looking like a contracting sine wave. Oh boy! I can't wait for the pips to start popin'.

Hi M_MM,
Thanks for sharing you chart, I like it. Your chart give the viewer a very good sense of direction in a seemingly Chaotic market in a simple yet effective way of applying moving averages and S&R. I am curious, what averages are you using there? And How did you manage to post an attachment that can't be downloaded? Pretty cool Micro.Ttyl.

Hi Pip,
The moving averages are 34 and 89 SMAs. The 89 is flat lately and that helps remind me that the market has been in a range lately.

I posted the chart from MetaTrader by >File>Save Picture As>Active Chart-600X600 Pixels. There have been technical dificulties recently with attachments. This way I was sure you could view it.

I like this chart for the reasons you mentioned. S/R levels are so important to watch that I look at simple charts first beore I add other indicators. That gives me a good sense of where price targets exist.

Hi M_MM,
Here is the xpMA_v15 which includes some addtional funtions. I have included the other indicators required for the xpMA to work, of course you know you can use thes indicators on there own as well. The current chart has the Slope Direction line Displayed and the xpMA using the SDL. I am including the xpMA_v21 also because it has a couple of extra user imputs in it.

Hi M_MM,
Haven't herd from you figured your busy working, Git-r-done!

I am slowly making my way through Langs thread, post one. I like it so far, but have found myself focusing on moving averages I like your 34,89 sma and how the 34 is like the price action's center of gravity and the 89 is like 34's center of orbit, it very interesting how the orbit is tightening and tightening, with each revolution,heading toward a breaking point, it seems.

I went ahead an applied the xpMA_v15 in place of the 34sma with the settings:

xpMA_v15(13,6,0)

and look what happen. I am going to try to refine the xpMA settings to find better signals but this looks pretty good.

HI,
I was getting tiered of switching around beetwen charts, as I was getting curious about moving averages today. So, I decided to put 60ema's on my 5M chart that apprear on 15M,30M,60M,240M.This is what it looks like:

(15/5)(60)180ema on the 5m chart=60ema on 15m;

(30/5)(60)360ema on the 5m chart=60ema on the 30m chart;
(60/5)(60)720ema on the 5m chart=60ema on the 60m chart;
(240/5)(60) 2880ema on the 5m chart=60ema on the 240m chart;
and so on...

I realize it is pretty simple math but it's nice to see on one chart with the Fibo series.But, what is really interesting is when you switch to high time frames!

HI,
So, I took my new moving average 5M chart and switched it up to the 15M chart and I see the 2880 EMA hiding right above the the -89(212.24) series line at 212.28 and I am curious to see if this will provide the support needed for G/J moving high in the next few days, your guess is as good as mine.
