You're just focusing on the workers, look at the Boss and BigBoss.

Just check out the shadow............This is what you should be looking for to get in at the start of a strong move

hello Strat....can you please explain how the idea of the BOSS 20 and 50 being in harmony/sync with each other, then waiting for the Worker 20 and 50 to turn in the same direction works with the bar reversal we should be looking for, as if the BOSS 20 and 50 are sloping down we are not really looking for trades which are in the direction of the BOSS 20 and 50 and the Worker 20 and 50 direction (reversal bars, PA) as we are technically looking for trades in the opposite direction from what the BIG BOSS, BOSS and WORKER is telling us......hope this makes sense.....

Everyone should know the deal by now. Logging in it seems pretty clear I should be looking for longs based on H4 down. I will trade from London open to about 10am London time.

 

  1. Close above resistance, stop below the candle low. Stopped out, never quite got into any profit.
  2. Reentry for similar reasons, and rejection of strat shadow. Stop below the recent low. Closed with a failure to close higher.

Calling it done price has been bumping around the same area for the last hour after a quick run up and I need to get some sleep for work. I don't see any entries that were safe to take after London open other than the ones I took. Anyone?

about Strat's hint There is an earlier indication of the sellers' intent to close out their positions. I would say that the candle marked at No. 1 in the chart is already a reason to exit the trade. Large tail, small wick, sellers getting out their positions and bulls getting long.

Not really, there are some adjustment along the way in the thread.

You can wait for that but not necessary.

Slope give us some clue, but we do not trade the slope. We trade price action on support and resistance. Price action on support and resistance is what we are looking for around here.

So here is an example of what we are looking for (or at least I think).

What is the direction? The price was moving side way, is currently showing that it is going up with the sore thumb of hammer on SR.
Where is the price relative to SR? it is on the Strat Shadow. If it keep moving up, the next telling is around 155.

Is the B moving the same direction with BB? Yes currently. It confirmed turned into up swing start from candle (A).
Where is the price relative to SR? It is moving toward the next weekly SR, hitting soon. (also note that this is still in WCC)

Since BB and B are in the same direction, we can now start looking at Worker.

Granted it does not give the easiest PA entry, I think there are a couple potential entries.
Trying to catch the price turning toward the direction of boss, and exit on next SR is the Basic PASR.
(Then we look for confluences of SR, but let's not get there right now. And there are other clues like Terry mentioned)


Those it getting quite abit harder on hard right edge to spot those.

I would like to, but I can't. I practice after I work, and London open 2 hours before my job end. By the time I reach home usually is at least 3 hours late.
Red dotted line was where I start to check on chart, around that time the GBP pairs' trend were turning into consolidation.

I would say it's the 2nd is the confirmation (or at least the time I was actually there to pick it up on hard right edge).

First hammer is the sign of potential, but a pull back will do. However, on 2nd mark, the seller stop selling around that area. It does not close below the 1 low. At least that's how I read it.

I think you got the entry, but you did not stick around long enough for the trend to run. At least this is my opinion. It just turn into an hour of consolidation before continue moving.
