Those are the same patterns one plays over and over again on the little weekly swings with the shorter time frame charts ,, they all play the same ,,just takes a long time for the big boy charts to play out ,, lots to be had on the weekly swings back and forth
and like the sht time frame charts the ones who shted to fill tht gap 2 years ago lol,, not even dust left ,,,, along with ones tht have bought all the way down to go to 1,40 again are dust ,, just the way trading works ,,dont fight it ,,roll with it lol ,, pays much better

I'd like to think it's a perfect setup long as neckline is not broken (with a daily close)

Need tht one fat finger ,, head and shoulder projection gets to the previous swing low or to mid point of the big projection ,, need one long monthly down to the 1st hold up there ,,but things shaping up for sure ,,just need something to light the fire

those same patterns used intraday ,, same ole shit just a different time frame ,, minute chart last 2 days ,, been going down ,, days open 1st line in the sand ,,, london comes on line ,, starts whacking away at it ,, takes it down to quarterly tht quarterly level where it goes back to where then gets sold again ,, course by then getting on in the day ,,, we know its been below some shit ,, pretty big level on a quarterly scale tho

same view on an hourly ,, same areas marked ,,, all depends on how many wiggles one wants to catch ,,tht 1st line in the sand is pretty damn profitable if one learns a few patterns ,,pretty much all add on spots from tuesday on right up to today for me ,, ,, those patterns in little short charts pay well too lol time frame doesent change any thing ,, levels do and above some shit or below some shit ,,have the same things only upside down in the ones were going up all week till today ,,

Gold with some weekly levels ,, few points shy of quarterly open after getting hung up just beyond what,,little bull flag after bull flag now here it is weeks end bout back to quarterly open ,, ,, a previous quarterly low and one of them there pesky 3 levels which if not taken out means an attempt to go back to what that 1st line in the sand ,, all them levels left by price ,, not formulated,, not magic ,, not mystic ,, dont have to be plucked out of the air ,, they where all right there ,,, just a matter of taking the ride ,, ,,same ole shit just a different instrument,,, put the pieces togather and take the ride ,, dont fight it lol ,,, 20 points in gold ,, thts a decent return lol,, ,, all ya can do Jp1 is map it out ,, a few times of seeing shit go to fruition ,, you will start picking shit out lol,,, ya know tht a little history mixed with the here and now you will do just fine ,,and the big moves you will be sitting right ,, the mkt gives ya the pieces ,,just put them together

and currently adding to my shorts there using the H&S neckline retest.. Wait for retest or a bit higher to stack more in

yeh i see all this shit.....but then every little level i have on my charts that comes up i “think” its gonna turn (when long) or carry on (when short), so i either close out too early, or let it run and then it does turn.....or if not in a trade, dont enter coz the bull / bear move looks strong....only to be proved otherwise. I try and follow london and then the US comes in and smashes it up.....and i lose my direction....one thing after another! And then im also thinking, eur is so low, surely it cant keep going down....and yes, i know it can in reality!
gotta somehow stop thinking and start taking “swings with tight stops” at some levels.....might lose 20/30 pip stop occasionally but should hit some decent ones too.....thats my aim at the mo. Had a great couple days actually, up 6% (with small lots), but need to carry it on!

Sorry got side tracked lol,, its not easy bud ,, tht 70 30 thing ,, its tht way for a day ,, its tht way for a week etc , tht passage of time thing ,, some moves can be quick ,, some trips can be long and drawn out but you can piece them together , last 2 weeks ,, took 2 and 1/2 days at the start of the week for the topping out pattern ,,bout a 35 pip range ,, tht was a shoulder level on the bigger patterns ,, then when it started to drop ,, all those little things ,, time of day ,,the days open what is there for patterns and projections ,,having some good weekly levels to trade the quarterlies has worked well for a long time ,, then inside tht trip tht little list of givens ,,time day ,, you know what asia always does ,, usually nothing lol,, they never rock the boat in the eur ,,, it got below some shit took out the projection in the eur ,, notice how its holding it down atm ,,was weekly L 5 there,,tht is a weekly break out tgt ,, think of how shit acts around previous lows (or highs ) tht little list of givens I always rattle off ,, you know the how far roughly ,, you know the when ,, all tht little shit gets used to find those tight little areas to take a swing ,, all these little pieces fit into the bigger patterns from longer charts ,, in time you will start fitting the smaller picture into the bigger picture ,, ,,but yaa got to keep in mind tht passage of time thing ,, it seems excruciating slow when you are going the right way lol,, it seems ridiculously fast if a mkt is moving against ya ha ,, ,, move 1st started after 2 and a half days of shit at the top as the top was put in it sucks lol,, then one day with drop then nothing into the holiday and basically the 1st day back ,, then the selling kicked in again right down to where,, just thru last quarters low ,, then a bit of a bounce ,,moves up are no different ,, if you start drawing some of this shit out you will start picking up on it ,, then tht time of day thing ,, what did london do ,, what is for a fuel source (news to finish patterns off or to start them ,, whats the next level ,, how does it all fit into the big boy chart patterns ,, it will all start fitting together ,, takes a little practice tho ,, wont happen on its own lol experience and practice ,, with shit tht actually works tho ,, not formulas and predictions and calculations based on shit or theories,, go with the tracks the mkt leaves ha ,, they are always more accurate than the last or next latest and great magic holy grail ,, ,, all it is patterns ,, buying or selling and what pieces you have to get you to the next level up or down ,, ,, no magic no mystery no bullshit ,, just is it being bought or sold ,, where may the follow thru come in and where might it stp ,,, not easy as said many times ,, but practice with shit tht works and it does become doable ,, and repeatable ,,

Put the pieces together,, 3 days putting tht top in ,, quarterly number ,, a previous shoulder area ,, then another head and shoulder pattern with projection hit ,, no big suprise ,, tht shoulder to the left ,, a few weeks back if you look you will find my post where tht was pointed out long before it got there and then what happened when it did get there ,, and now here we are lol ,,,, took a few days for everything to line up then when it did well as stated ,, here we are ,, flag patterns in there point to where we are at ,, the head and shoulder pattern projection to where it is at ,, ,,,tht here and now with a bit of history if you look left no question the last daily swing low or last quarters low was going to be whacked ,, everything pointing there and its here ,, longer big boy charts pointing lower and it may be tipped at this point all the pieces were there ,, put them together take the fucking ride ,,rinse repeat ,, lower tgts all pointed out by JB and myself they will come ,, piece it together ,, top down ,, bottom up lol,, dont be afraid to clutter a chart up ,, dont be scared of a few indis ,,but know what they represent and how they work ,,tht little list of givens the averages ,, above some shit below some shit tgts and projections yada yada ,, same shit I have repeated over and over ,,it doesn't change ,, what does change is one gets better at recognizing shit ,, better at mapping the price patterns out etc etc ,,,practice practice it all adds to the bottom line above some shit one is taking the buy patterns at the averages and the stochs ,, below some shit on is selling at the averages and the sells on stochs ,, not easy ,,but as said not the science or a gamble or a coin toss or a fifty fifty shot its made out to be ,, those are just fucking excuses ,, along with mkt makers runnung stops and the such , they couldnt give a rats ass less about retail traders ,, ,,its like anything ,,it takes a bit of practice to get decent at it ,,excuses only work once after tht they are just a bad habit lol ,,
