Disliked{quote} It's insane. Everything is up. Fuel. Electricity. But hey. It is what it is. Just looking at this EU rally. Have begun loading more shorts on it as Gold etc haven't followed. I have however bought gold as a hedge against this EU. Stay safeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Not that it’s any consolation (expensive is still expensive) but at least things are up because of inflation/natural market order or things. Over here things are up because politicians want a bigger cut on levies and import costs. For example, a car requires an entitlement certificate that costs maybe double or more, depending on make, of what the car itself is worth. Cigarettes are marked up 2x to 3x because they claim to want to ‘discourage’ smoking. My apartment is a little studio not more than 300 square feet (yes feet, not metres) in...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Lol my man that is also the case here. Sin taxes(alcohol and cigarettes) are also up by a fair percentage. Fuel shouldn't be as expensive as it is, gvt has attached a massive levy on it all in a bid to recoup funds that were wastefully and fraudulently managed over the years. All of this coupled with a growing state wage bill. It's just absurd at this stage.Ignored

Disliked{quote} It's crazy and scary at the same time .. not sure if buying GOLD is a great idea but let's see.. EU short? you know I always like the sound of that lolIgnored
Disliked{quote} Ah yes fuel. It’s crazy expensive here too. Plus taxes - they define 320k in annual income ahs the highest bracket. So anyone above that amount whether 320k or 30mil is taxed a uniform 22% (on top of the various other consumption taxes and levies). We don’t have a minimum wage structure here, so while the lower income brackets pay next to no tax, their expenditure on NECESSITIES pretty much eats up the entirety of their income. A lot of graduates continue staying with their parents because of this - your entry level jobs can barely pay for...Ignored
