From what i understand on the 'Opposite_Fast_Swing', once price reaches a swing point and the indicator shows up, the trade will close at the close of that particular candle. (Somebody, please correct me if i'm wrong.)
so i'm not really sure what happened on the immediate close of your trades.
a picture of the pairs in question will help us analyze.
In short however I should not have had this option set whilst using Use_Auto_SL and Use_Auto_TP; as always all your help much appreciated. Cheers
These functions can also be left to 'true'. Remember, we can always move these lines manually, in case they were placed on odd places.
I like the SL not too far away from a swing point or a certain pivot point, my thought is, if the price go beyond the swing point or certain pivot point, i'm out.
Similarly, I treat placement of the TP the same way.
Again, this is just me, in time, each trader will develop our SL/TP points based on our own preference... dont follow me lol
.For sure we will get to that point sometime, that's why we need to continue sharing our results.

This week I am comparing the 3 level semafor to the swing to see if one is better than the other.
I have been running them on H1 charts with the same settings and just letting them run, here are the settings I am using.
The swing takes a few more trades then the semafor, so far the swing looks better.
Running 24/5, set and forget, just one day so far.
1) Charts = H1
2) DB = D1
3) Look back or Window as I now call it now = 5
4) HAS = 1,1,1,1 Color change with Lock
5) Add To Trade = true, 1,5
6) Marty = true
7) Use opposite swing/semafor exit depending on which one was used for entry
8) Use add to trade when new swing/semafor is formed in same direction, depending on which one was used for entry.
Kind of like cost averaging down.
After I decide which one is best then I can dig deeper and look for the best way to keep most of the gains and maybe even
add other filters to further improve the picks.
In the past I have also been selective on which pairs to trade but at times I have found that I have missed some good moves
by some pairs that don't come around too often.
Things to look at: (Everyone chime in here)
These would be in addition to what I have listed above.
1) Time to trade
2) Pairs to trade
3) Filters to use

Here is a short swing trade that is still open that had 1 add to trade when a add to line was drawn and hit.
The gray box is the previous (look back) which I now call (Window) in the next version. The swing point must be in the window.
If the PA doesn't go any lower this trade should close at the top of the hour, in about 15 minutes, because of the green swing.
In this shot the previous short swing signal is in the gray box but the HAS is showing long, so no trade. Eventually the last red swing point will be in the box
and if the HAS turns to red while it is in the box it will then take a short trade. You can see how the swing has drawn 4 times so far but has yet to be confirmed by the HAS.

will this be an additional option or a change to our current 'add to' calculation?
most of the time, price will visit the last swing before continuing its intended direction.
adding trades when this occur will give us a better entry price.
and in case price decides to continue past the visited swing point, it will not be a huge loss as our SL is usually nearby

Should be a couple days, I will need to do a video as there are a couple other things I have added.
I put the Schaff Trend on some charts and since it uses something similar to the MACD it seems to be another OB OS indicator that shows the same thing we already see.
Unless someone can show me some screen shot examples of where it would work as a filter to keep us out of bad swing trades, or are they using it along with something else other than the swing.
It would be easy to add but adding more filters does not always improve the picks, you reach a point where you start missing good trades because of too many filters.
One or two filters usually work the best as they are all based on the same PA.
I am always open to ideas.
