Sam's ES Journal

I am a Price Action Based Trader ( Simulation). I Trade mainly the ES ( emini).
I use multiple Timeframes namely:
1. 5 min , 15 min Day time session only
2. 10 min, 30 min, 60 min 24 hours
3. 42 Price Changes, 82 Price changes 24 hours.

I also keep track of Daily, Weekly and Monthly charts ( background)

Here are trades taken today:




Reasons should be apparent ( Basically trendlines and S/R area) confluence for the Sells.
The buy was based on S.A.D ( not my style) but took a chance and it clicked ( also there was trendline confluence so had more confidence in it).. It was very risky when I took it.
I am aggressive in taking profits. I trade 2 Contracts and am out of 1 at 1 point and try to get 3 points off the other.

On the last trade , I got 1 point and am now reversed to long side ( scratched :-( )

chickened out of the last trade and only scalped and also did not maximise on 1st trade. I got in early on the first trade and was lucky it worked.

Got the short cleanly. Got out near BOD. However made a mess of the long trade, scratching, twice before finally getting on board.

On 6/28 ,
kept shorting the market in an uptrend. What a bad trading day.

on 6/29.


Changed my charts to volume charts based on y'day debacle ( i know that I should not change the charts but change my thoughts but well changed anyway)
worked out for me though.

Saw A ---> Wanted to go long. Hesitated...price moved far away and risk increased so missed it
Took B ---> Stopped out at break even. Felt price will move down as inside day but could not hang on to the trade.....break even
Took C --> Stopped out at loss.
Took D --> Worked ....whew!!!
Took E ---> At open of Day and triple tap ...
Took F --> At Support Resistance swap area
Took G --> Back to Support
Missed H --> This may be the big move ...felt risk too high....
