What I am wondering ous whether any of you or people you know personally have gone from being poor or economically unprosperous to wealth as a result of forex trading. This it's after all the goal we all are seeking and laboring intensively to accomplish so out may be help ful to see that others have actually accomplished this. And I'm not talking about Soros or other market wizards, but regular people. Either you or someone you know. Thanks.
If it were not so, I would have told you...
I know people who have learned to make a tidy profit that is a good and helpful addition to their general income. It does happen. But I don't know any people who have become truly rich from it.
I have seen lots of Forex traders , majority of them are loser , honestly. Very few some of them are professional trader who have overcome their finical problem very rapidly by Forex .
Its hard but possible to make good living.

From trading definitely, from forex I'm not sure. Forex is a great way to enter into the world of trading, but in my opinion every sane person who is serious about trading, sooner or later moves to a more regulated market.

I'm trading currencies off of futures data, because I need volume as well, and it is much more stable. Personally when I reach a capital level that I can trade the smallest contract size easily on futures, I'll definitely move there. Probably others moved to either there, or equities, options, etc, that's why you can't meet them on "forex" factory.
Price and volume reveals everything. The market moves on supply and demand.

I highly believe they do actually, but the thing is, themore people gain money the less they talk about and almost say nothing, thats how it is, and people wont be doing it if they did not gain a lot from it..

I strongly agree. The reason they do not talk is because they don't want to divulge their winning methods. The more traders copying their winning methods, the less likely their methods to work in the future and the more their chances of becoming from winners losers. Even Charlie Burton does not give out his methods. When he was asked all he said was: I use lots of methods.

The more traders losing the better for winners.

Then it's a matter of belief not fact. There is no evidence that any retail trader has ever become wealthy from trading the forex as a retail trader. And this Charlie Burton is a fraud. He makes money from selling subscription to his trader training! If he is "wealthy from forex" why would he bother putting in any effort getting some pocket change from the public ?
As a matter of fact as long as it remains a mystery, "the shovel merchants selling shovels to the gold diggers" will continue to prosper.

That has always been my question to people selling strategies/indicators/EAs/training/etc. - if it's so good and profitable, why do you waste your time selling it rather than using it yourself to make money without having to deal with other people?

People like George Soros and Stanley Druckenmiller would probably disagree. That said, the George Soroses and Stanley Druckenmillers among the hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of regular Forex traders are so few and far between that they are the exceptions, not the rule.
