I'm dumbfounded at these responses? (ZEN: when somebody offer him a seemingly legitimate business investment with good return, lack of experience, living expenses, and good dream of a good future make him careless) Maybe you need to learn to write English first and Make him careless? make him??? (Blue Steele: Nobody likes to lose money but how can you blame Gem and Horizon? Because he didnt do his due diligence on Razor fx. He obviously didnt) No, your right blue, I should blame the man on the moon (Grant-So you call him a moron for not doing "an ounce of research". What do you call yourself, recommending a company without confirming the owner has done an "ounce of research"?)
I call myself a moron as well but I think it's safe to say he is the biggest moron and that you must all be his friends defending him.
To your guys credit I guess I wasn't clear about the due dilagence I did. I spoke with Gem-Cem(how about the fact his legal name is CEM but on the horizon site it's GEM????) on more than 12 different occasions about the legitimacy of this fund. He WOULD NOT disclose the names of the traders to me or the company. This is where I became the MORON, I should have turned and ran. I didn't because his explanation seemed sound. He said we are the marketing company or the middle man, therefore giving up the company name Razor FX or the traders name MacCaull would have allowed us, the investor, to circumvent using Gem thus cutting him out. He assured me everything was fine and that Lloyds of London would soon be insuring the fund for fraud. These are the words that were spoken from Gem-Cem Ali's mouth. Where was I wrong? I should have said, 'hey if you won't tell me his name or company can you tell me whether you did any background research on the trader or company?' I didn't ask that question but it probably wouldn't have mattered but who knows. I did however speak to the attorney for the fund which I won't name here whom also assured me of it's validity and told me a company in Vancouver called, Horizon, stangely enough was auditing the books etc. I also HAD a very trusted friend and confidant who is a professional currency trader who is a member of this board which I will also not name who told me he checked with the BCSC and everything was good. Both of these gentleman assured me things were fine.
Grant, Blue Steele, and perhaps Zen must be friends with Gem to be protecting the man whom has ruined so many lives finanically because of his half baked due diligence. I'll take my lumps and move on, I'm young I can make more money BUT what about the poor souls who lost their life savings? What about people that lost substantial sums of money who's lives finanically won't be the same and will need to sell their homes and lose their famlies etc? Should they solely blame themselves? I don't know what world you guys live in but if your sold a car that's a lemon it's not the buyers fault it's the dealerships, if you die from bad legal drugs it's the drug companies fault not the patient. It's futlie to go on with anyone who is sticking up for the man that helped 100's of people lose millions. I take full responsibility but how a man could meet the traders, go to the offices in New Jersey, open a company to market this fund, invest millions of friends and family monies without doing a single ounce of background checking or a 10 second google search is totally unacceptable and the law will determine he is guilty. I'm sure you people are in the minority as any normal thinking man or women would see it the way I do. Obviously whatever YOU lost, if anything, wasn't enough to cause you to lose your family or home or you would be playing a different tune.
