Hi everyone

Well I haven't posted on FF for a very long time.

I have been on demo for over a year but I really think that it's time to put a toe in the water!

Basically we're just going to use the robot to open trades on the live account. Starting at $100 deposit.

20 pip SL / 60 pip TP but we will open/close trades manually as well if we see a great setup or that an opened trade is obviously going south.

Watch this space. The trade explorer will be posted next couple of days.

In the meantime I will post a couple of screenshots showing the basic system although if you see my DASR thread, it's very much the same idea. What we are going to stick to this time is sound trade management!
AUDUSD

Very easy to pick up pips on every bounce. 30 min chart lowest I go and ONLY in a strong trend which we confirm with the daily chart

Still here

Just applying the demo which has been following the system

Exclusive using 4hr charts - very rarely going down to 1 hour even more rarely 30 min
117 pips so far today. It's such a simple system but works really well

Looking for 30 - 40 on GJ back down
Well lost a few pips due to real bullishness against the yen. But still well up on the day!

Some nice set-ups approaching on the 4 hr charts. They are:

GBPJPY - possible bounce off 62 later or could still turn around
USDJPY - we'll look for a bounce off 26 (low)
EURJPY - off 26 (close)
EURNZD - off 200
CHFJPY - off 26 (low)
EURUSD - has already bounced off 200 can still join in at present level
Well this new explorer shows whats possible

Set up the robot last night (asian session) on GJ and took 5 perfect trades. Setting a very moderate TP everytime of 20 pips

Welcome. I've posted a version of the EA below. Test it out. If it doesn't open any trades then let me know and I'll post the original.

DD is up to you - you can set whatever SL you think is appropriate. One can also set a trailing stop

Well it's been an up and down day - Really better to stop trading after 10.00am (BST) I think because the EA is not going to work well during periods of extreme volatility. But that goes for any EA. But here is the story so far:

Let's keep it going for a few days and see what the final result is.

nice thread, but earlier you mentioned M30 is the lowest you go, yet, you posted 2 M15 charts. Is there something I missed?

No, you're right. But really, we have to go with the flow, right? What I realised is that lots of smaller 20 pip profit trades are just as good as one 100 pip trade.

This is the second explorer and I have, in fact adjusted the strategy - I'll explain next post

Nice bounces on USDJPY too.
Well I haven't posted for a while because I am finally honing this strategy

I'll post some very interesting charts over the weekend
Guys I am posting a couple of USDJPY 5 min charts. One shows volume but really difficult to read - don't know if anyone can help there?

The other using CCI which I think helps tremendously. Along with the ema's to trade off

Same pair - 15 min chart. You will see 2 trades that the EA took for a nice 40 pips

Have a look at the divergence. This happens constantly with the CCI and I mainly use the 15 min chart to spot divergence. It's powerful and rarely fails!

OK I am trying to show where the robots will take the trade - here's a few examples below.

To be honest, the 1 min chart is not reliable for consistent profitable EA trading. But the 5 min chart actually works very well. Trading conditions need to be right though - VERY important!

Sorry what I'm getting at is that I want to automate all trading that I'm doing
