MT4 on Linux?

Has anyone in the forum gotten Mt4 to run on Linux?

I tried it more than a year ago but couldn't send any orders. Haven't tried it since then because I have lots of learning with mql4 code anyway. By the way, has anyone managed to get dataflow of GBDUSD (RSI, Stochastic, etc.) in custom indicator when the indicator is attached on another chart (any other but GBDUSD)? I have tried it with several custom indicators but any of them seem not to get the dataflow of GBDUSD if the indicator is attached on any other chart but GBDUSD. At first, I thought it happens because of my broker but I tried another broker today and the same problem occurs with that broker as well.

I have been using MT4 on Linux for a few months. It surprisingly installed using WINE with no problems. All the necessary functions like trading, back testing, indicators, and eas work fine. The only thing that doesn't work are the Marketplace functions. They use a proprietary protocol that WINE doesn't understand.

Yep agree, beside the marketplace everything else works without problems
