Disliked{quote} Ok thank you very much for such good information! Expo if you have nothing against it, I'd like to ask you a few personal questions. I have read in this threat, that you are a professional trader and trade approximately 80% of your trades with this strategy. Therefore (and because I have noticed it in my own trades) i think this is a very powerful strategy. How many Pips you catch round about in the month with this strategy? And how long do you practiced to become profitable? And to all the other users who have been involved with this strategy...Ignored
About 15 months ago I started studying Wolfe waves. I spent about 6 months using a demo account to see what worked and what didn't. Learning the structure was the easy part, learning how to apply the theory was the hard part. Not because it's really complicated, but because we each have a personality profile when it comes to trading. In my opinion, the biggest hurdle to overcome in trading is yourself. Mainly your ego, your fears, and your greed. Like many I put my 10,000 hours of study in to be a successful trader, but that means nothing if you can't tame the beast that lies inside all of us.
Anyways, I've been trading mainly WWs for about 9 months now. It's hard to quantify how many pips a month as I tend to scale in from 3-40 positions per trade depending on the time frame and pair. So the number of pips per month isn't really that relevant. What's relevant is consistently initiating high probability trades with sound risk management. I put up a trade explorer 14 days ago for a mini account and it shows nearly +10,000 pips, which doesn't really mean too much considering how many micro positions were scaled in. With my overall account size, I'm happy to harvest 20-50 pips a day. That's more than enough to live comfortably given my monthly financial obligations. As my overall account grows, it will become irrelevant. A few good trades a month can be very lucrative once the account grows to a certain level. For me, it was never about the money, it was always about the freedom. And honestly, I love the competition, the chase, the hunt, the win. I grew up in a hockey family, that's all we ever did. We lived it, we breathed it. Every day was a war on the ice, and only the ones with the commitment and mental fortitude survived. Trading is no different. It's a tough game but I find it rewarding in many ways other than just the financial rewards.
