DislikedHello DrForexMD, since you are talking about the medicine a little... Could you please share your MD path, did it feel right for you (from day 1) and why you retired so young. Also was MD a true passion but now you closed that chapter mostly and would like to pursue FX path or did you maybe regret you didn't get in finance sooner, before becoming a doctor. Or was that maybe a plan, first MD to secure life and later pursue finance/trading passion - (if it's not just side hobby)? Hope this is not too personal, can PM me or can share for the others...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Dear auricforecas, Yes, I did miss you prior post. First of all, the late Mark Douglas (MD), the professional Forex trader and consultant, clearly said that when you are trading Forex, you will need to keep your primary source of income. That is, until you have had several years of successful trading in Forex. (see his youtube videos). As for me, I have loved medicine and that was my heart - to help patients be well and stay well. However, I was always into computing, so I developed medical programs as a hobby and applied it in my office...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Much appreciated! Yea, I am a multitasker also but some (if not many) sometimes say that you have to go all-in. I think that is different for forex - at least in my case where I don't watch charts non-stop (has negative effect on my trades looking in retrospect). So yea, I (will) keep/build other sources until I have a substantial account. Love the medicine->finance transition, parallel... I plann(ed) something similar. I was curious if you would say you regret not doing this sooner, but as I see it, you have made a good balance or good/smooth...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi auricforecas, Like everyone else, I do have regrets for things I did in my life, but I learned from them and moved on. As for as having regrets that I did not get into Forex early in life, NO WAY ! I achieved my childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor and I achieved it ! I love trading Forex now, but it takes a lot of devotion in continuous focus, learning and obtaining experience ! I could not do medicine and forex at the same time. Medical study - which is continuous - as well as its practice effective, family and friends, would...Ignored
