FOREX close / open times (weekend) ?

Hi everyone,

Would anyone know what the closing and opening times are on the weekend for the fx market? Over here at GMT+10 it seems to be around:

close: Saturday 6am AEST
open: Monday 7am AEST

but i am getting conflicting answers to this question. Tried to google search it but the web sites also conflict.

"AEST" - What does it mean?

never seen that too? maybe Asian Eastern Time?

AEST time is Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC-010:00)

EST is used during winter in these Australian territories (Eastern Daylight Time during summer)

1. Australian Capital Territory
2. New South Wales - except Yancowinna County (CST/CDT)
3. Tasmania
4. Victoria

EST is used all year

1. Queensland

The brokers in my region tend to open and close at 12AM on Sunday and Friday.

Broker mainly close & open their daily candle and Monday morning based on any specific session, isn’t?
