Buy: Channel Arrow shows up PREVIOUS candle, CCCloud is green
Sell: Channel Arrow shows dn PREVIOUS candle, CCClound is red

Settings TMA Indicator:

Target For Buy: Price Goes To The Bottom of TMA Band. Take Profit At Open of Bar Following Arrow Signal (Bearish Candle) Down.
Target For Sell: Price Goes To The Top of TMA Band. Take Profit At Open Of Bar Following Arrow Signal (Bullish Candle)Up.

Stop Loss Bullish: 50 EMA Crosses Below 200 EMA
Stop Loss Bearish: 50 EMA Crosses Above 200 EMA
(FOR THE EA THIS NEEDS TO BE A CUSTOM FIELD WHERE YOU CAN PUT MODIFY THE MA VALUES)
(ALSO, THERE NEEDS TO BE A MAX STOP LOSS FIELD IN THE EA TO PUT A HARD STOP OR CATASTROPHIC STOP). SAY # OF PIPS OF PERCENT OF ACCOUNT VALUE THAT IS USER DEFINED.

Filter:

Avoid A Buy Signal Where Price is "X" number pips (ex. 30 Pips) Or Greater Below the 200 EMA. Avoid A Sell Signal Where Price is "X" number Pips (ex. 30 Pips) Or Greater Above the 200 EMA.
(FOR THE EA THIS NEEDS TO BE A USER DEFINED FIELD WHERE YOU CAN PUT "X" NUMBER PIPS)

**This should be a good framework to get the the basics of the strategy developed into the EA. There will be modifications specifically to the money management. But I want to make sure this portion of the EA is working properly before adding features. Thanks!

I wrote this Indicator to visualize the Buy, Sell, SL and TP Points....so it is better to see be4 i put the code into the ea!

I totally agree with you Fiddy and with Rete. It looks very promising and I am curious and interested. I am looking forward to see more and I will have patience until the EA is finished. Thanks!

I can hardly hide my curiosity. I assume that the strategy will be made for RenkoBars. Because I frequently (examples) see made for H1. For the time being I am using 2.3 Deviations and I use a Boxsize (Normal Renko, no Median) 10 for GBPJPY. I have hide the 2 MA's in the chart.

I like the 1 Hour chart. The only issue with renko may be its too small of a time frame depending on your settings.
But once the EA is complete I will be testing on various time frames. I have several ideas I want to test.

Today I let the EA run which opens a trade with Lotsize 0.01. It's not a bad trade @Fiddy : because the original thread was "Let's automate a simple Renko Strategy" . But OK, 1H is also possible but I prefer by far Renko's. Trading on movement and not in time. It depends of course the amount of the Boxsize. I am using in the chart a Boxsize of 10.

are you sure about painted history based on TMA indicator? ... from my view, TMA indicator was not based for analyzing history, but again for forward trading because it repaints (for good reason well explained by author) ... that means strategy based on this indicator looks great on history charts, but forward test is another story ...
I cant post links to other forums, but you can find it yourself, just search for "mladen Triangular moving average"
the closest "non reapainting" MA is LWMA (linear weighted ma) but it must not looks so "nice"

you have it in metatrader, it is moving average, just set MA method to: Linear weighted .... and the same for envelopes (all are part of metatrader) ...
