Hi Guys

I am looking for an MT4 indicator that I have seen on several peoples screen shots a few times, however I seem to be unable to find it.

Basically it is a visual representation of the daily range for any particular pair shown by a lightly shaded transparent box on the main chart. Does anybody have this indicator or know where you can get it from? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The indicator you provided has the information that I am after, but it is not quite what I am after. I was hoping for it to be presented visually on the chart in the main window, say as a box around the candles/bars for each particular day.

Hi WHTTenn. I have tried to search through the MT4 forums and couldn't find it. However I often see it on the charts of WTB. Many thanks if you can help, but I wouldn't want for you to go out of your way.

You are looking for this, the BreakOut Box indicator.

post 38. Just use box A and zero out the other boxes.
It is takes a bit of getting your head around, but will draw boxes up from 0:0:0 to 23:59:59. The problem with the Sessions indicator is that the bottom level of the box can vary depending on whether the price reaches the low within the last hour of the day or not, which caused me to scratch my head once or twice until I figured out what was going on. In other words, the bottom level of the box varied with different time frames. A downside to the BreakOut Box indicator is that it does not delete old boxes, and I could not work out why, but you can probably live with that. In the end, I worked out how to fiddle with the code to give me exactly what I wanted and kludged up a version for my own use with my own parameters.

Have you had any luck?

I adapted 2 EAs to have the daily action inside a gray reactangle and have the average daily range shown on the top-left corner.
I'm just starting to mess with EAs but i guess it shouldn't be too diffucult to have a EA indicate the SMA setups for the different time-frames.

My adapted EAs are not perfect but for now they help in my trading. I'm also a HectorTrader fan and i'm considering buying his course.

I tryed to contact you in several ways with no luck. The email in your profile doesn't seem valid.

Search for "MArketPRice" indicator...it gives you exactly that info.



As for a ADR indicator that actually shades the graph...any one have one? I have searched high and low and cannot find one. a Visual example is here: http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...7&postcount=13

The TSR indicators seem to be the best with regards to information however there seems to be a glitch... On my platform I have 5 digits after the decimal for the normal pairs and 3 digits after the decimal for the yen pairs.

This is causing the daily ranges to come out incorrectly. Is there someone that could possibly tweak this please to only look at the first 4 digits on the normal pairs and only the first 2 digits after the deimal on the yen pairs?

Hey Thanks for the update.

unfortunately it is not quite what I am talking about.

I am referring to the range figures... if you put it onto a GBPUSD chart for example you are getting figures like 1401 when actually it is more 140

do you see what I mean?
Hi Pip, ok I know what you meen here, simple fix that I should have done... I just convert in my head so I don't think of it. Anyway I have to deal with a family issue today but will take care of it this weekend....
