Hi

Im wondering if anyone knows of an indicator that automatically set the object that you draw ( like a trendline ) to only show on the Time Frame you draw it on

For example

If I draw a trend-line on the 5min chart and then switch to the 1 hour chart I dont want to see the line from the 5min on the 1 hour and same for all other scenarios with different TF etc

Would anyone be able to point me in a direction to look.

I have googled but not found anything.

Right click on the object, go into the properties tab, then go to visualisation tab, untick Show in all timeframes and tick only the timeframes
that you wish to see the object.
Once you do this, all your future trendlines will have the same properties until you change them of course.

You can do this same trick with all indicators & objects.

Thank you for your reply but I am looking for an indie that will do it for me as I move through the TF so I dont have to do it manually

I have come across an indicator that will allow you to do that, it is on one of the supply & demand threads in the commercial section.
The indicator is called Rectangle Reader.

I'm sorry, but I get so little spare time to do any coding here. The indicator that I posted above was one that I coded as practice when there was all the new mql4 stuff introduced in the major upgrade a few years ago.
