Thank you for your encouraging words. I think my most updated one is posted in the 100x80 OH Boy thread. It was posted Nov. 15. I will probably updat and post the newest figures but I dont think any currency has gone much beyond what is reported there. Oh by the way your idea is a good one. I have used a buy only or sell only EA after I read a chart. I also have used a close only EA on trades. In other words, I enter a trade and then I let the EA close the trade based on parameters I have set. This keeps my stupid brain and emotions out of it. I have had some limited success with that but again I am not home to get the entrances I want so I dont use it much. I have been thinking of using a simple MA cross on a 4H chart to enter and then switching it to a close only EA based on a 1H or 15M chart. I think that would work since MA crosses on a 4H are pretty solid entrances and then going to a close on a lower time frame would maximize the profit. Havent had a chance to play with it though. Just an idea I have.
Yeah, that shouldn't be too hard to program. Speaking of, I've been meaning to re-write the code on this thing. As you can see, I've been out of the market for over a month. We are closing on our new home that we had built at the end of February and I have a TON of things to fix up around our current home before we rent it out. Add to that the second bailout and the new President, and I will be waiting until early March to jump back in. This time with vastly greater funding and hopefully a re-write of the code. I really hate hacked code.

As for your ideal EA, I think you not need to wait till 2 months.
If you can clearly define your need, I can try write it from scratch.
I think it's quite easy EA but need the details requirements.

Yup. There are also several lines that have been commented out that should just be removed and other things that should be reorganized and cleaned up.

I still have one heck of a honey do list around the house. I'm only just now going back through Nanning's other thread and reading up on what I've missed.
@Frostcall - if u clean code up and perhaps explan how does one do that, it will be most helpful and u will do a favor to many of us here by cleaning it. I humbly thank you for your attempt.

Report on my live stuff: 100/40 d1 EA is running from 12th of november 2008 on my mini account, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, from cca. 8:00 to cca. 15:30 CET time. Profit to today is 199 USD, biggest earner is EURJPY (70 USD), GBPUSD (60 USD) second and EURUSD (30 USD) third. Biggest loser is NZDUSD (-7 USD), EURCHF (-2 USD) second. Lot start and still current size is 0.01 on mini (penny).

Tryouts of 50/15 1,4 settings are promising with some mods, if they prove longterm OK i will post in detail.

the way i use the EA:

I look on 4hr chart Stoch 12,5,3

If stoch is under 20 line i add 100x40 BUY EA
If stoch is over 80 line i add 100x40 SELL EA


For example: on Eur/Usd...
It was not designed to do that. I think we talked about this once before and didnt know how to change the EA to do that. You can take your question to the prgramming forums and get an answer there.
I wrote an article about the holy grail in forex...

There was a closed door guarded by two ancient stone columns. I opened it and walk in. Silent marble floor long the corridor was running down to a dimly lit room. Carpets and furniture never seen all over, around it no one. 1) Delete the target price and enter zero.
2) For 5 digit broker, if u want 40 pips, enter 400
Has anyone using Median Lines? For the last couple of weeks I follow Forex analysis at myforexview and this looks like Holy Grail. Any advice?

Median lines are not good, the High/Low's are only a side effect of the real movement.If you use MA's then use it only for PRICE_CLOSE.

Are you still talking about a martingale EA 6 years later? People leave it alone it will just ruin your account.
