knight capital scam alert

it seems this broker has team up with a few manage account trader to scam clients money. one of my friend got scammed by this manage fund called Lion Fund. He put 10k first week Lion Fund traded very small lot won cuople hundred dollars. then second week they traded 1 big shot and empty his account in 1 day. This is really a big scam guys. this is a set up between broker and some so called Manage Account. So be careful guys stay away Fortress Fund too they look so suspecioud

I too got burnt with Lion FX Fund. I thought It would be speculative to use some of my trading capital back if February of this year. At first it made consistent profits and thought every thing was all okay until I started to examine so of the losing trade that suddenly changed direction yes a losing buy trade would turned into winning sell trade. At first I thought there was a problem with my eyes but not! Also mysterious hedge trades would appear after they were close cancelling out large losing trades and sometimes showing a profit. When I email them they would never give me a clear answer. Also their account on myfxbook did not show the same like for like trades on my account?? Once again fudged off by them when questioned.

It would appear that they were manipulating they way trades were displayed on my MT4 platform which they had complete control. The login page to Knight Capital has an affiliates login https://www.knightcapitalmarkets.com/?aff=lion and they seem to have white label brokerage agreement Knight Capital making Knight Capital complicit in this venture.

Basically the scam works like this you deposit your hard earn money into the Knight Capital account manage by Lion Fund. They trade away showing consistent profits with the occasional losing trade (this is all fake) your account appears to grow (fake again) so you are happy. Until one day they open a number of losing trades with massive position sizes and you get a margin call and you lose your deposit which Lion Fund bags because they are the broker hiding behind Knight Capital's white label. Lion Fund sends you an email apologising for the sudden down turn in the market and that's the nature of trading. Knight Capital say it's nothing to do with them

Looking back It was simple case of not doing my home work and believing too much of what I see and not questioning things in my own mind.

It's a clever scam but the tell-tale signs were there I just didn't see them until it was too late

 

1. Web site is full of crap stock photo's with some of them photo shopped and yes fake testimonials by actors https://www.lionfxfund.com/OpenAccount/
2. The Lion Fund portfolio which mistakenly mentions Fortress Fund instead of Lion Fund (Fortress Fund also suffered a catastrophic collapse)
3. The evasive emails from their CEO Alex Williams (Linkedin has crap stock photo claiming to be him) https://je.linkedin.com/in/alex-williams-6bb397b8
4. The postal address in Denmark which is a mail box and nothing else

I was scammed in the same and the signs were there, Knights Capital and The Lion Fund are not regulated. Can we take any action against them apart letting the world know about scam.
