Friends, I may sound stupid but I really need to clearify it.

How does lower highs and higher lows work? I can see a symmetical triangle formed base on lh and hl but i dont know where lines should be touching... plz help in plain english :-)

I hope this link helps to understand. The higher highs, lower lows is a basic tenet of Dow theory. It has to do with trends.

Think of chart patterns as mountains. Lower mountains means the highs are getting lower. Lower lows, are like inverted mountains doing just the opposite. Hope that helps. If not, im sure other peoples' answers would be better good luck
