Disliked{quote} This is a interesting statement, i'm someone who never traded live so this kind of problems are new for me , but won't the brokerage r/t be composated by the lower spreads?Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you trade 100 lots in 1 trade you are paying $700 brokerage R/T and that is very very expensive. Definitely better brokers who cater for those amounts do it far cheaper.Ignored
Disliked{quote} When you trade that size, the broker will give you another commision than the standard accounts have. I am using pepperstone active traders account, and i get much cheaper commision than the standard account + better spreadsIgnored
Dislikedif i read all this i think i'm going to give pepperstone and ic markets a look, even if they are b-booking i won't face that problem for a while first make some money that is interesting for them to do that don't i?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Some brokers arent interested in the small retail market but target the sophisticated client and can offer very tight spreads with low commissions.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Look, using market makers, even some people think otherwise, is risky decision, because of conflict of an interest, they earn money when you lose trade and they lose when you win. In general market makers have slow execution, off quotes and other shit that can drive you crazy. I haven't tried oanda that has good opinions among traders, but with all market makers I've tried I had bad experience. Only market maker I would like to try is Activtrades, FCA regulated, funds insured up to 500000 pounds and good spreads, however probably speed of...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not true. Where do you get theses fairy tales from? Oanda has always instant execution, they even brag about this on their site. Quotes are never off and all clients get the same account type. That's what I like, they don't treat their customers like assholes. That whole MM are slow is just a false rumor so that ECN brokers who do not have the money to be a MM can talk people into going for ECN. Because who in their right mind would switch from a MM with no commission to an ECN with commission?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Again excuses for not getting this O_O So is someone like pepperstone in that case a good choise yes or no?, or do you recommend searching for a lower commission? (the spreads ''look'' good)Ignored

Disliked{quote} My experience with Pepperstone is good. Remember that all trades below 1lot in size is going to b-book, no matter what broker you use. If you want a high leverage broker, with good regulations & service. Global Prime, London Capital Group, Darwinex, Pepperstone, Ic markets.Ignored
DislikedHello everyone! Contacted Pepperstone, but they do not offer guarded/custodial accounts so i'm a bit stuck now.... gonne search further i won't give up that easy ofcourse so gonne mail more brokers (which are standing in this thread) I understand the brokerage point ofcourse!, i'm underage so a lot think someone should not do this yet on such a young age. Hopefully it will work one way or another Have a great day! FrankIgnored
DislikedHi Forexfactory! I'm planning to start in a couple of weeks with a small account to learn everything about how it is to trade with REAL money (spreads, latency etc), So i'm searching for the right broker who fits my needs I'm currentley using fxpro but because you have to deposit at least 500 euro to open a real account will that not work for me, The best i could find in my opinion is octafx but i don't know if they are regulated (on the ff broker site doesn't stand any regulators). List of needed things: leverage up to 1:500 (i know cursing...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think micro account from Hotforex should fit your needs (based on your requirements), they have CySec regulation, of course not FCA but can give the odds to some FCA brokers in trading conditions..Ignored
DislikedHello everyone! So opening an account will just be under my parents name to avoid all the things around that i'm underaged, but i'm still a bit curious about all brokers, because something like pepperstone, you read really good things about them and you read really bad things about them and that makes me a bit worried about is it safe? Or just ignore the couple of bad experiences because you will always find bad experiences by brokers? Note: most complains goes about big slippage/stop hunting/not closing trades and more + will it be a problem that...Ignored
