Picked the wrong day to try to counter against the trend and pick a top/bottom.

AUDUSD scaled up and closed with BE+
U/J and E/U both scaled and got hammered. Had to capitulate. Now licking my wounds and looking for next trade.
What a way to start a new thread.
Mistake was trying to scale both inversely at the same time. They are too inversely correlated during strong moves. Basically doubled risk. Great if on right side. Costly if on wrong side. Should have traded both same direction and scaled up/down the unprofitable leg.

That happens to all of us I guess every now and again...had similar day beginning of the week...live and learn

This post doesn't really belong here but if you knew my history on the EUR/USD scalping only thread that I did last year, you would know that I basically suck at manual scalping, no matter how much I tone down the risk. I started this thread to challenge myself again and to keep me entertained while waiting for my EA(s) trade. Yesterday one EA took +105p on one EUR/USD trade. Today I give back that and more "scalping". If I lived and learned, I would just stick with what works for me, and not trade manually at all, but then I wouldn't have so much fun here. Anyway, glad this thread is taking off and decent folks are participating. The other trading threads were getting too much to even read/follow. At least this one seems it will go on its own with little or no moderating.

AUDUSD looks like complex H&S on 5m and neck/shoulder line about to be taken down which *should* be good for EURUSD short and UJ longs

Out of U/J round two with loss, not going to try to pick the bottom of this swing. UJ is either super easy or super difficult for me to trade. Personally, U/J is hard to trade short term for me. Make the most position trading it holding a month or more, lose the most trying to scalp and pick interim tops and bottoms with it. For those that can scalp it, hats off to you. I salute you.

Finally got a UJ reaction up 220p below DH and 200 from original long entry... 100p swing up in 15 minutes...without me...painful to watch, yet amazing range today. Painful to watch because I deviated from my original scale plan posted hours ago.
