2 woulda shoulda's on the last one I took, I couldn't believe my own analysis so I bailed. Demons, demons...Begone, I command thee!

I saw today that NinjaTrader bought Infinity Futures in January. For now, they are keeping things separate, but I'm sure that will slowly change, which means the writing might be on the wall for Sierra in that arrangement.

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with NinjaTrader as a platform or as a broker?

i switched last year to cannon who connected me to dorman with routing tt so i pay 26 a month for sierra and 23.50 for feeds and cme its about 15 more a month but my move to be+1 moves to +1 and not reset like it use to do. its been fine and i get to keep sierra
..pre-market has provided more of an opportunity recently. Took this short earlier and out around yesterday's open and the doji.

+15 Pleased it was so quick, I'm tired today. There was more after, but my focus is shot. That's always been one of the problems with this timeframe for me. I've been staring at the screen for 7.5 hours with my business before the market opens.

I used it before sierra, its fine and all. But needed windows to run it, so I had a virtual machine chugging away in the mac. Sierra is an exceptional platform, you'd have to prize it out of my dead fingers. If it means moving broker to keep it, then that's what I'll do.

still 1 min.
pretty good week 5 1/2 wins. today was a very volitile day started off with 2 losses followed but 4 wins in a row
pretty volatile week all around. a minus 16T weds, picked up plus 20T yesterday and 7T this morning. should remain elevated as long as the 10y
is above 1.5 and threatens higher, big money rotation moves the needle pretty quickly in our scalp world.

I'll echo that Sierra is an incredible platform and light on the machine's cpu
missed numerous early entries, pullbacks took off numerous times so I stopped looking to chase. a couple of 123s at what looked to be a top.
entered 1st, held w/out trailers. made a calculated risk to enter a second and determined to practice "patience". up and down
numerous times, finally had to close out plus 10T(x2) had other things to do. could have easily gone the wrong way but, need learn to live with
my decision. hope all are doing well.

almost the same song as yesterday. trade entry nearly same position. market conditions kind of jumpy early on around the whole number.
took one trade for plus 15T, had my stop set just above the whole number which was previous high, rather than a fixed minus 16, plus 16 etc.
too many chores at the moment to watch.

given my age and experience, I'll take it as a compliment. since I do not yet have the extensive full time trading experience under my belt,
this is about my speed until I am fully comfortable with 123s, pullback entries, ross hooks and the like. a couple of plus or minus 20T gains or losses
with multiple micro's are not of consequence to my acct or lifestyle. doesn't mean I like losing, if anyone does. moving up to 10-15-20-25 usd/tick
I would not want to be in the market longer than a few seconds. at any rate, appreciate all you have done on this thread. BTW tried an NQ micro, pretty fast.

The YM Could bring tears to a glass eye. The inconsistency is becoming boring. I'm in a quandary, what to do... Trying to be consistent with inconsistency doesn't make for good outcomes.
