Harold, what is the max number of candles before you give up on a pullback? Or is it just about the relation to the last swing? would you chase a pullback of 6 small candles that never broke the last swing?

no more than 3
a heads up dont bother with the large candles not enough time to do the math there will be plenty of trades. the key is wait till candle closes 5 ticks in your favor before moving stop to +2 it eliminates 99% of the be trades
finally have some time to watch/trade a bit. took 2 this morning lots of volatility. plus 8T and plus 3T. saw a couple of 123s acting as pullbacks in a range,
trailing stops took them out. currently using up 5/3, 10/8 and 16/12. get a lot of plus 3s. will let it settle down for a bit before looking for more entries.

nik-nyc, Is it possible to build an indicator for sierra, or is there one already there that I haven't found, that would mark 20 ticks above the close of a down bar and/or 20 ticks below the close of an up bar?

crappy market conditions, volatility moving up to uncomfortable levels, for me anyways. missed a number of trades early, got one plus 3T about
30 min ago, and decided to call it a wednesday. right at the moment, not having a trade that fits within your parameters is probably a plus.

A really subtle 5point grid would help get you really close
But Sierra can do almost anything if you know the study/alert etc. It could be done
The other option is to to do what Harold has done and just skip these big bars.

i already got my 2 wins before you had that loss first 1 was 933 candle to go long on pullback the second one was 935:20 pullback to go long. you also missed a few from your chart

the pb fills at 13490 long, goes to 13494, then comes back, then 123 to go short
