A common thread that I see throughout these forums is that no one proves any of these vendor systems works. Challenges to the systems are generally filled with hyperbole and met with personal attacks back and forth rarely leading to any productive outcome. I have gone through only a small amount of commercial content as there is just too many various threads promising to make me a better trader through their subscriber systems.
One thing that we should NEVER do, is actually put our money in someone else's trading account when there is an unverified track record. This is as good as throwing your money in the trash. On the other hand, paying for education is not a bad thing if this education proves valuable to becoming a better trader.
A couple threads that I have been through.
1)James16 thread, I have tried to start reading through it a couple times and in all honesty I still don't find much of a thread tying things together. It seems to be a conglomeration of many people's TA opinions without any real system in place. Maybe they are all much more intelligent than me, but I just don't see anything there.
2)Supply and Demand - I have followed this more closely, there are quite detailed "rules". I have gottten as far as trading in demo for several months, and even have a profit. Here is my track record , keep in mind I have not paid for the service only used the free information on the forum. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/mes...demand/1320444 I will be honest that I have not focused much on this since around October, so trades were not as carefully planned and you can see that after 7 straight months of profitability in demo I actually tried to go live in October. It did not go well at all, Murphy's law maybe....anyway this caused me to lose interest. What I found so far is that you lose more than you win, but proper money management keeps you in the game. Large news that changes trend can cause your account to take a huge hit quickly as it blasts through several levels in a matter of hours or days. Mostly it seems the message is that if I want to do better with this system I should pay.
Anyway, my point is that I am capable of learning, I am capable of following rules, and capable of applying.
My challenge to any commercial vendor, is to make me a test pilot. Make me a member, and let me learn your system. I will start a thread here on FF and provide all my trades , reasoning and results as I go through the process. I have no reason to be unfair against your system, in fact my success would be your success as well, surely encouraging many more subscribers to your system. This way your potential customers could see my account of learning, perhaps even with yours or your members' coaching input along the way.
I suspect that no commercial vendors here are willing to take the risk of having their system "exposed" in such a way, even though it would be absolutely no upfront cost to them.
Keep in mind that I don't have time to do this with multiple systems, but I would also guess other FF members would be willing to conduct similar activities should there be multiple interested parties.
I suspect this will be met with silence from our commercial friends, but you just never know....thus I am throwing this challenge out there.
