About three months ago I moved $3000 of my funds to a different broker. Since then my ea has made almost $500 profit and over 400 trades on the account. Two months ago the broker made a negative cash adjustment of -50 cents to the account. I wasn't informed of this at any time, and only found out about it by looking at the statements they email every day.
Has anyone else had a cash adjustment made to their account where the broker has not notified you? I am not petty and 50 cents doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I'm not sure whether I should see it as a red flag when the broker deducts profit from a clients account without notifying the client and giving a reason why. What do you think?
I have two other live accounts with a substantial amount more money in that are also profitable and have been running the same ea for years. There have never been any cash adjustments made to them.
