when markets extend, is not in balance.
where the true equilibrium?
nothing moves in a straight line.
sometimes have curves, sometimes sharp bends.
if you watching pulse you will understand.
if you watch charts then you see nothing, feel nothing.
market makers can see paper books.
big boys have continueous reports or someone watching protect risk.
if you think you infallable, or system infallable then you pay.
is a battlefield, everyone there is financially fit and capable slaughter at will.
is not a walk in the park.
is managed by many many pros.
where ever you assume risk it has 50:50 odds of cotinuation or rubber banding.(random walk)
so waiting for confirmation or sure signal is a futile effort.
mostly if you initiate a risk , market makers would like shade you.
brokers would like scalp you.
big money may like test see how much pressure this anchovie can take.
is easy, you take 2 pis higer they send it down 5 and you out 7 with slippage.
thats only 1 leg. in and out your slippage is 15-20 pips.
you wait for brakout or you wait for line cross or indicators turn, you will be late as anything.
Think, strategise try find the theritical edge and the niche.
mostly know your cost and sigma.
you seem from your chart taken out 2 times,by fast rebalancing.
thats why i feel some dangers for you.
you not very on the ball.
or may be i reading your chart wrong.
peeps like ask 1 liner questions, and i have to reply.

I feel when you detectd trend you not aggressive.

take eur/usd and the price at 1.2575 u believe price becos of the recent price action price may go to 1.2750 and in extreme cases price may go to fill the gap...
my mind scuttered.
you see, these the last things that need enter your mind when trading.
if you not know these things
then is easier for yousee what market is doing.
is called bias.
even just read about it already, the clear mind thingy is lost.
i much prefer know what drunkenmiller or any of his men is doing than the reasons behind it.
at least that i can use in battles.
