Thank you so much for all the lesson taught. I have been reading this thread for about two months now. I am only up to page 190, slow reading process, i know. I am Indonesian so, my english skill is limited and I prefer to take a slow reading as I have to ponder everything you had to say.

My only regret is that why didn't I find this thread much earlier. I have started trading this forex market since 2007, it's on and off things for me. I have blown away about 12 accounts. I have tried almost every trading system, even purchased a couple of EA.

After I start reading this thread, all my perspective towards forex trading has come to a new stage.

Well, honestly, last month I blew another account trying this strategy, after having been able to triple the account in less than a month (over-exposed cause by overconvidence). That was when I didn't not have enough knowledge about the 3M (MO, MM, Mindset) that is taught in this thread, (I was not even up to page 100 at that time). Yes a little knowledge is dangerous.

I still make few mistakes, e.g. I realized from hindsight that the scout should not have been put there or the attack is wrongly timed etc, but, still manage to get out alive (rescue). So, now all I have to do is practice, practice and practice to get the feel to make the 3M like driving a car, where we didn't even a plan to hit a break or to change a gear but doing it without realizing it, (reflect).

Anyway, I sincerely thank you so much for this beautiful thread and I pray to our creator up there to give a very good recovery on your health.

I am begging for inspiration as I reluctantly type these words because I am well aware of my present limitations mainly as someone whose world revolves primarily around me(no children/wife yet) and my relatively young age. As hard as I may try to place myself in other people's shoes, the picture is mostly black and white. What is the appropriate or dare I say, right thing to do? I feel saying too little feels somewhat superficial whereas overdoing is just going to make what I strongly feel are good intentions completely backfire. Then again you probably already account for all of this but I do hope you sense the extent of my deliberation.

Without say, I feel extremely indebted to you in particular for reasons that have been voiced repeatedly my many posters here but personally sense that perhaps this FTI sharing experience should now come to a close.
Our gratitude and progress can only sustain you so much. Furthermore, we really cannot replace your family.

In the process of becoming this FTI we know, is it possible that FTI's FTI is no longer as accessible or knowledgable or wise? Assuming the position of a teacher creates a mental burden that I do not think you need at the moment, regardless how occasional. Maybe, the rubber band of life is not going to snap back after taking all the punches. It is not admitting defeat but perhaps accepting that we may at times be severely tempted to believe that we have to start back at zero, which is rarely the case isn't it?

All three decades you have trained your mind to have extraordinary powers of focus, a double-edged sword, so perhaps it is time that you switch it to self-healing? I imagine laughter, a bit of chess, fishing and unbelievably good views and good friends to be a start.

I sincerely wish you the best in your next few decades, collecting even more gems along the way and doing your part in uniting us, the people of planet earth.

They were responsible for a very good trading day in the euro, and resulting moves in the CAD. I am sure that the US Senate and Congress will provide more news that will reverse all this within the next few days.

Your first postings, and very eloquently done.

I read with gladness in heart, of your good command of the English language(non mother tongue, i presume, as you are from Indon).
Inspite that you mention of your youth, your cultured way to nudge me to thoughts and subtle manner of highlighting that I may had overstayed my purpose is indeed valid. I shall therefore take your advisement underconsideration,that if indeed, my overstaying may become counterproductive to my health situation, as well as to give enough space for friends here to find their niche. In fact I had said many times that the presentation is already completed.

My purpose for this thread was never to be teacher nor mentor, but as a friend to assist Leighsww, initially. Thinking that to do this in public view would avoid misunderstandings and in the process may also be useful for others who may be receptive to the decision processes that would be presented. However , the point you made is indeed vaild, that although i may be housebound, and find this warm in the friendships i had gained here, that i should not be addicted to my focus on this activities.

I thank you for your genuine concerns, and will be giving this matter serious thoughts.

What a coincidence, capt ,will be finishing building his catamaran project(lower photo) soon. He mentioned mooring her off Club med Cherating. He is toying with bigger plans on his gypsy. I think he already bought the structural building plans.Unfortunately i am unable go for these cruises, due to my circumstance. Not wanting to be a burden. Seems he lost his free crew. I had thought of setting up the most hi end Audiophile sound stage for him on board. But i guess will have to rethink that. Did thought of making my own "tradewins". I guess thats only dreaming now.

i feel confident in my technique

i am able to find direction, and timing, now i need to scale in, to reduce risks

i can guesstimate direction from fundamentals and technicals, and corroborate with correlations if unclear. i can actually feel when the market is different, and im able to see the price move

according to observation of buy/sell pressure. momentum,
i can see 3 directional price in a none time frame way
im pretty exited

this month 2 bad trades only, because i knew where the direction was but was to stuborn to follow,

10% account growth.

yeah fti i know ego thing....just excited, i will continue to learn and continue to practice, now i gotta scale in to maximize profit,

congratulations!

But as you have mentioned yourself already: Try to avoid overconfidence and stay with both feet on the ground.

You have to gahter some more experience now, so that the market has the chance to teach you some important lessons, like "you can never know..."
