PVSRA Scalping with Cigarguy

EURUSD +5

Double bottom on long term support, then the price breaks 1.174 and EMA's upwards with big volume. Closed it for 5 pips.

Hi guys,

Looking for some criticism (Of which I know there will be plenty) about my trades this afternoon if you would be so kind.

Starting with the usual disclaimer that I am trading whilst at work and sometimes miss exits/entries due to being busy.

Entered short on retrace to 25wgt, then again when it continued up to dragon and then one final time when it bounced off ragon with a high bearish volume candle. Then I got busy at work so missed what would have been my exit had I been able to.

I then came back to the charts seeing that I missed the oppurunity to exit and wondered what to do. I was confident that the bearish trend was going to continue so stayed in the trade hoping to catch another entry or two before the continuation. Reasoning for thinking the trend would continue down were a combination of a few high volume bullish candles not having THAT much of an effect and a trend line I drew from the two main swing highs ( Red trend line on the chart).

PA past the dragon upwards and actually broke the 200SMA with notable volume but the notable volume candle had a long upper wick so wasn't really that good for the bulls. Also looking back to the last swing high this actually broke the 200SMA before contuniung down so I wsn't all that worried about it. During all of this I did enter another 3 times with the view that if it went down to the middle ground between all 6 entries I would just about break even.

I got fairly lucky (?) that after PA broke the dragon it was folowed by a massive bearish candle so I exited for a decent profit.

I just want to know if any of you would have done the same or if you would have just cut the losses after missing the exit on the first 3 entries?

If you have no time to scalp, do it not or trade another method. You make yourself much stress to scalp and work at the same time.
Market is more simple as you think.

I don't disagree with you at all and I 100% would not do this if I was trading live.

I am only trading a demo and am doing it to get better with PVSRA so I feel that what I am doing, although definitely not the best idea, is better than not trading at all where I would be learning nothing at all.

Agree.......Good practice if trading demo just be careful not to acquire bad habits absent REAL MONEY at stake....

EURUSD M1 LONG CT TRADE

Counter Trade because of strong rejection of key level 1.7250 with a red candle and notable volume.
I saw that on M5 it was also showing me a red candle with notable volume that failed to break the key level.

I will be careful, thanks.

When I am ready to go live I will do so with a micro account for a long time first to get used to the pshycological aspect of trading with real money

I scalped the same but only +4 as was busy and late entry....

EU M1 +81 (+3.2 avg. @ 25 lots) The H1 candle gave clue to stalk waiting for momentum on break of DO line and dragon but entered a little soon at the 200 & 233 Ema area which was a little risky but took the risk with high volume/momentum...

I didn't let this one run for more pips as CT M5 & M15 as possible retrace and near M5 200 ema and 1.7500 key level as possible resistance......

Very easy one that I took when PA broke the RDL with a red candle and notable volume.
I waited for a retrace to the 25 wgt and entered.
Got my target and exited.

MichealSch is right. Working and scalping at the same time can be really stressful. Scalping requires a lot of focus.

Seshwaan, how about setting your TP when you open the trade? If you do so, you won't miss your exits.

Very good observation! I also always look for patterns and clues like that on the charts.
UJ +7 ( 2 lots @ 3.5)

PA been bouncing off 200sma all morning on the uptrend, entered on 3rd retrace to 200sma and exitied after notable bearish volume after PA broke dragon on way back up.

Looking at the chart now I should have stayed in but happy with +7 nevertheless!

One thing I noticed today is that on M1, the dragon is actually the same posotion as the 25 wgt on M5 and the 200 sma on M1 is the same position as the dragon on M5. I am not sure exactly what this means yet but I do know we can take this into account when trading.
