I find this mansion review motivating AF! The way he describes it, specially here... is SUREAL Nice spot/motivation for trading, to help get in the zone.. And when you have doubts, you just check the view again and say "f. yes... I did it before, will do it again" Oh and yeah, won't comment the RED ROOM... there might be heavy/high-frequency servers there (no pun intended ).

Hahaa, interesting post Auri.

I was upticking till the 2nd video lol.

It is always sad (edit: for me) to see a person in an emotional breakdown (mental health) state, as Mike clearly was in the 2nd video. A trained martial artist/boxer would never allow themselves, in their best mental health, to lose the plot as Mike did. And it cost him greatly later in his career as well.

Which was the total opposite to his early career where his composure was sublime.

He never showed a sign or skerrick of emotion then, he just went about his job in a professional and devastating manner.

To see him again now (in the 1st video) still able to throw those left rips was amazing. If that is muscle memory, then he has not lost it. Demo fights would be great, but please Mike not back in the ring again professionally.

Loved the videos though, really enjoyed them.

For motivation, you can't go past listening to what Cus says, in all facets of your life.

Mike never really the same after the great man Cus passed.

Yeah, but for some reason, people got very motivated... The first comment got 1.9k likes.. See attached

Also, speaking/comparing in trading terms... I have noticed that traders get motivated more with DEmotivation(s)... It is industry-specific it seems.. For example there is this Dan P. guy that charges a lot for his seminars and he humiliates people all day and they seem to love it, get motivated by it (specially since he, as presented, is supposed to be successful AF)... So some get charged by "CARROT".. some by "STICK" but some through HUMILIATION (of powerful/successfull man/woman)... BTW strong "segment" this days... Also, I believe Arnold S. said it also that when he had "skinny" legs... and people laughed at him, he started to wear even shorter shorts... so to be laughed at even more and to be motivated by it (in fact some very successful people got there exactly this way.. by channeling this into success instead of being negatively affected)... So again, have noticed that traders love being DEmotivated vs Motivated in classical terms... As you know trading is very specific/chaotic.. roller coaster ... So a lot of things are upside down and this (de)motivation might be one of them And do not get me started how they balance/depressure/compensate all the pressure.. Some clues in the Wolf of WS movie hah...

Yes, I heard that before, he was very strict and disciplined when he had his first trainer... was never the same later.. basically he "banked" on original momentum later... till the first loss, and then jail etc...

Those threads are poison to one's mind. One should have clarity and not being poisoned by those "motivational visualization" clips - you mind will actually grow weaker and by doing those things and getting into those threads you actually pushing yourself further from being succesful.

Yes, it's an educated think, I've been around long enough to spot a conman when I see one, type the fraudsters name in google, brings up lots of marketing videos and it look like he also owns the broker, his EA's have fantastic results, he's manual trades are also mint, NOT POSSIBLE, who trades £860.00 per pip?, he's manipulating the results on the broker side, to draw in suckers like you , to buy his 3K EA's and buy his 15K training packages.

you think to much <== should be: you think too much.

Here check his trades: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/san...fusion/4484527

Check his other stuff at the bottom of the page.

Guys, anyone else gets motivated by this? Just watched latest Billions (TV Series) episode (05x02) and the main character got the "moment of clarity" when he realised that Hedge Funds might be "cool" but their "life expectancy" could be SHORT and you might be skydiving without the parachute, while the banks/ers.... Here is the quote... I find it motivating AF.. Anyone else?

Found subtitles online, so here it is...

--
Wags, you ever get tired of working for a living?

Every damn day. But I've got a nasty addiction called money. So I do what I do. You?

No. Never. Until today. You know, they call us traders 'gamblers.' The world economy's just one big casino, fueled by a giant debt bubble
and computer driven derivatives. And there's only one thing better than being a gambler at a casino.

That's being the house.

That is right. There's a systemized machine out there sucking capital from localities and injecting it into the global markets where it can be used to
speculate and manipulate. And if something goes wrong, there are bailouts and bail ins, federal aid and easing.
Where the government doesn't hunt you down, but instead gives you a nice soft net to land in.

That's your answer to the fireside chat: You want to become a bank.

I want to become a bank.

In order to rob it?

In order that I don't have to. And to sleep like they do. **NOTE: they=bankers

And to die in my own fucking bed.
--

Talking about Wolf in Sheep's clothing or "best of both worlds"... Maybe...
Like... I'm an "Investment Banker"... but inside... Or "Investment Banker" by day, "Hedge Funder" by night Something like BATMAN...
Funny... Christian Bale played both parts... One as Investment Banker, P. BATEMAN... And the second as BATMAN
Can you afford to take that chance?

There are people who run that big casino and rest of us as part of their business.
