Hello everyone.

What's your primary occupation?

I started to write on Italian and English forums and I'm asking this question after reading this statistic on the investors traders.

Thanks to forex I am now a bum leaving in a card board box in the middle of a rail road track.
I am going to the local clinic to sell more blood to put on more usdjpy shorts.
I'm missing the option "hitman" in the list.

Seriously: FX main income since a few years. I was an entrepreneur before (developed a quality assurance computer system for chemical and food industry and did a lot of RFID and sensor technology stuff but sold that business recently).

Full time trader here
But I always wanted to be a train driver.
Full time trader. My hatred for working in corporate America and reporting to idiots with less education and experience than myself pushed me hard enough to become profitable. When I went pro I had several nights laying in bed, wondering if I was crazy for what I did and how I was going to make the mortgage and car payments. In the end, it all worked out. I do believe becoming a full time trader is harder than becoming a pro athlete, but unlike sports anybody with the will and determination can do it.
Not to be critical, but you know what I hate? In any list like this, whether it's an official form or an internet forum, no one includes 'full time parent' as an option. So I usually select 'other'. But where 'other' isn't an option, I have to select 'unemployed'. And that really irritates me. Like I'm sitting around doing nothing all day. Like looking after a toddler isn't bloody hard work. Rant over.
