Weird, only M30 timeframe missing candles/data (v4 build 765)

I open up a MT4 chart window on EURUSD and toggle through the timeframes and only M30 has missing candles.
The rest of the timeframes are normal.

The best part is; only EURUSD is affected. Other pairs such as GBPUSD, EURJPY are normal.

Have been running this MT4 profile for months without any problems till 3-4 days ago, the M30 on EURUSD started giving missing data/candles.

what seems to be the problem?
Can someone help me.

Open empty profile with no chart.
Close your platform.
Go to your data folder under your mt4 installation.
you will see history folder there.
open it and delete EURUSD30.hst file.
Reopen your platform.
Open new eurusd chart than change timeframe to M30.

oh yeahhhhh. Yeyhaeyyyy!!
It worked perfectly.

Now all the EURUSD m30 charts are back to normal.
Finally i can sleep well tonight. haha

Mate, thanks so much, this just worked for me **** and I spent half hour with Live Chat trying to solve this; even went to TeamViewer, I don't think he understood or believed me!

Same problem, live account data, only NZDJPY, only on 15 minute chart, very strange

To keep the procedure clear for the new MT folder structure, here is what I did

1. Save the Profile you are using; then go to default profile

2. Open File, Open Data Folder, History, BrokerName-Live

3. Now you can close MT4 while the file folder stays open

4. Scroll down and highlight the Pair & time frame of the missing data eg. NZDJPY15.hst

5. Close the file folder

6. Restart Metatrader and open the saved Profile

No idea what caused this problem, no idea why it solves it, but it works

And I found this answer by using the ForexFactory search within this forum "Missing Candles"
