Filled London HG down, interesting place to be short. Seems too early.
The results of this candle should make it more clear.

I like the way you have your volume coded in the last few pics. A couple of suggestion, if you don't mind.

1. Volume greater than the previous 39 intervals, could be colored differently.
2. Volume greater than 2 standard deviations of a 20 period sma of volume could be colored differently.

Having trouble posting charts, but you can check out mine at this link: http://www.forexfactory.com/attachme...5&d=1436035105 .

Hey thanks, I would love to be able to code that into this volume indicator but I dont know how to code. This is actually just that same user added volume indicator that I've been using, just with different colors, red is vol > prev candle, blue is vol < prev candle, pink is < prev 2 and yellow is vol = prev candle. I like that volume in your link.

Long @ 1.0980, just looking for TP around 1.1007-ish
SpotFx so the prices match. TP based on the asia profile that has been made so far, I'm leaning more towards it staying in this range until closer to London, we'll see.

If I could make a suggestion; put a 20 period EMA on your chart.
There is more then 1 institutional algorithim I know of playing with longer term entries very similar to your trading plan off of the ema i suggested.
I dont want to scew the dynamics of your strategy, gl and looking good so far.

By all means, I appreciate all suggestions. I have a 20,21, or 25 SMA on all my charts actually, although it's hard to see it on the black themed chart. I don't necessarily use it all the time though, or have a set plan how to use. I've just re read your post and see you said EMA. They are pretty close it looks like, it just slopes faster that my SMA. That's interesting that there are algorithms that trade via EMA and volume analysis? Thanks for the help and encouragement.

Keep it up, someday you'll be living the dream. That does not necessarily mean trading from your own private beach. It's more like comfortably living off the rewards the market will bestow. The market will provide. We just need to learn how not to get in the way of that.

Thanks : ) I'm opening to the opportunity stream more each month I feel. I actually just felt I was the right fit for trading when I learned about it, I don't have a desire to be rich, just free to help out my family and friends and play guitar all day and not fret over $ : )

Asia stayed in the profile until the last 30m, pretty much what I was saying, I'd rather take profit early and sleep, than have my trade open for 10 more ticks.
