Dislikedalso they pay intrest on account balance, and better swap rates and lower commisionIgnored
Dislikedalso you guys can check out these guys capitalforex.com they have a currenex lite platform for retail clients and they are part of the london capital group.Ignored
DislikedEven the swap rates are different between platforms? HotSpot has some strange arrangements..
Do you know what the difference is between the lite and pro? Commissions/spreads/minimums?
I absolutely despise these broker websites which provide virtually nil information (spreads, commissions, swaps, liq. providers, etc). How is anyone supposed to make a comparison? Would a car dealer website just show you a picture and nothing else? Get with the times! Forcing me to call to find the out the most basic information is needlessly time consuming and therefor an automatic loss of my business.Ignored
Dislikedthey don't charge a comm on there retail and the min is $2,000 with 100:1 leverage thats on there lite website you didn't see that, i don't know to much about there currenex platform and how much they charge.Ignored
DislikedAh ok. I went straight to the pro website, and it's just pictures and no info.
So they offer a Currenex no-commission padded-spread version? It seems that the terms "Currenex" and "ECN" really shouldn't be associated with each other anymore..Ignored
Dislikedbut i notice that all ecn platform has a option for the broker to pad the spreadsIgnored
DislikedAll ECN platforms? I've only heard of it on Currenex where I witnessed it first-hand.
When I'm seeing 0.5 pip on the majors on most of the other ECN networks, I don't think they're padding. With the ECN aggegators out today, they'd only be losing revenue by padding, as orders would be routed to the most competitive venue.Ignored
Dislikedi was gonna go with zaner group who is an ib for hotspotfx they was gonna give me 100:1 leverage, then i saw there contract and it said that they mark up the spreads, if you want to know if a ecn platform can mark up the spreads all you have to do is look at there ib program.

DislikedYeah HotSpot has a great ib program. I was putting serious thought into forming my own brokerage/ib relationship with HS last year, until the CFTC came out with the new caps..Ignored
