Are ECNs actually cheaper than MMs?

MMs normally charge via their spreads only, you don't pay any commissions. However, ECNs charge both speads and commissions. So which is actaully cheaper in the long run?

i think its same because also the ECN the spread low but variable + commission come to the same amount

Hello guys, actually it is not the same. With smaller spread+commission you will be in the green faster, good if you are a scalper and the amount is not the same anyway.
