Put on around 20 deals for the week, got around 90% execution rate, some rejections.

Speed in seconds, but Currenex has fuck load of latency when the US crosses over.

Not sure of the last look window, definitely very low tho

Are they not segregated? They actually have to be as any FCA broker is actually segregated

I'm in processing of choosing. Not decided yet. did you hear about market factory aggregator setup through FC stone or Saxo prime?

I would steer away from Saxo after the SNB though, odd broker.

FC Stone, well US dominated... PB is usually done in London which is why I like to stick with English brokers. When I spoke with the guy at FC Stone he seemed a bit clueless....

Agree, not many choices. The same dilemma.
I also don't trust saxo, even their Prime division is separate from main.
The main important is LD connection for execution, clearing processing can be anywhere.
Heard fc stone somewhat 5$ per m.

LCG has not been shut completely, just the institutional side. They are currently rebranding themselves and targeting retail.

I do have an account with them and even though they are mt4 based they stream their quotes directly from Currenex, so far I only had a minor issue. Their execution is good, spreads are very low eurusd 0.5.

They had a 40 pip gap during EOD, for Fixi it's 20 pip then recovers after a second. But 40 - 50 Pip on the Aussie during EOD is ridiculous

Well their spreads are good, but they do not actually offer these ECN direct access anymore. I'm actually very wary of MT4 and know all the tips a tricks a broker can do to it...

Also they offer 1:300 leverage.... Yeah .... that's an instant question mark

Well Saxo prime gives u the same lousy CFD and FX platform so why would anyone want to deal on that?

Last moth I had a short kiwi position and right ahead of some news releases(I think it was US CPI figures ) I decided to move my SL at BE+ as I was already slightly in profit. Initial market reaction was to jump higher in the first 3 minutes of the news releases but the thing is that I never saw price crossing my SL level and the spread was very tight even during those conditions. However my SL was triggered and as such my position was closed, afterwards price started moving down.

My entry price was at 0.7603 and moved my SL just below my entry point at 0.7600. During the news we spike higher at 0.75962 Bid - 0.75974 Ask . At any moment I haven't seen the spread bigger than 1-2 pips. A friend has just confirmed me that on Reuters the highest price was .7594, on Dukascopy I had 0.7595.

Unfortunately I was caught up with something else during those days, I was extremely busy and I forgot to contact them.

Silly me, I should have had at least a phone call with them. I think I let it go because no real damage has incurred to my account.

But other than that I'm very pleased with them, as they have good execution, even during volatile times I'm experiencing positive slippage. When you hit the bid/ask price you get what you see or even better.
