DislikedEDTT for September Not a wonderful month for September with the live walk forward. Pretty bog standard to tell you the truth. Below are the closed trades taken for the month where at 0.25% trade risk we have only generated 1.92 x R. {image} Also not much available in the war chest from remaining open trades. {image} This is the time we need to get defensive and push those pending orders away from current price to avoid the propensity to over-trade until more favorable volatility returns. This is the environment where you patch all those little leaks...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi B. Great to have you on board. I calculate R in a MSAccess database where I house my trade results of my systems. You can calculate R from an Excel spreadsheet following the same calculation rules as MSAccess but with slightly different syntax. Once you have your Entry price, lot size, spread and initial stop condition, then the value of the R can be calculated as your maximum risk exposure at entry defined to your initial stop. First define your maximum trade risk in $ on entry. I use fixed fractional position sizing risking say 0.25%...Ignored
